Had high expectations from previous reviews and photos of the food and was looking for an authentic and traditional vibe which it did feel.
Went as 1 person (tourist) and had 3 dishes - grilled squid €13.50, the recommended fish at €35 / kilo with an estimated weight of 300g and some boiled vegetables which from the menu looked like €8.50 although I wouldn't have thought that would be for one person and would have had to have been the large portion for a group as well as what I was told was semalina cake on the house.
Total bill came to €40. When I asked for the receipt they told me they couldn't give me one and asked me to take a photo of the menu.
13.50 + 8.50 + 0.3*(35) = 32.50 (assuming the higher prices on the menu were chosen and excluding the semalina cake)
It is a shame that they decided to not to be transparent with their pricing and took advantage especially with the previously good reviews.
In light of my experience, will not be able to recommend to any tourists or people who aren't local. It may have been a communication issue but being unable to provide a receipt is...
Read moreI came to Greece for a trip, and it was a place I researched extensively and had a hard time deciding on, but it was definitely worth it. The restaurant atmosphere is very comfortable and pleasant, with air conditioning and a cool setting. The staff doesn't speak English, but one did, and communication was still manageable. They were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it. The shrimp pasta was especially large, easily enough for five people. We ordered calamari and salad, but because the pasta was so large, we ended up canceling our other orders because the pasta alone was worth exploring. My only criticism is that the dishes didn't arrive at the same time, which made the food a bit cold and disjointed. We paid 55 euros for shrimp pasta, salad, calamari, bread, and drinks for two people, but I highly...
