Nusr-et Mykonos — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

Terrible Service! There is no doubt that the food is great here but unfortunately nothing else matches the expectations one has from a restaurant at this level. I was last year at Nusret Bodrum and had a wonderful experience. Which was the reason I made a reservation at Nusret Mykonos. We had made a reservation in advance for 2 but upon arrival were told that reservations are only for 1:30 hours which already sets the wrong mood. I believe how long you stay should also be a factor of what and how much you order. But still we didn’t mind this and thought maybe just the circumstances. Keep in mind it was not weekend and we placed an order of 1000 Euro for two people . But beside the quality of the meal everything else started to be beyond disappointing. Our server never poured us our ordered drinks and kept it so far away from us that we couldn’t even help ourselves to the bottle and serve ourselves at least now that they couldn’t. So you have the stress of having to leave after 1:30 hours but still no one even bothers to let you drink the bottle you opened and this through out the night. We had to keep trying to get their attention so that they bring the drink. Then the Appetizers arrived , as soon as they got to the table before we even managed to taste it, the main dish, the golden Tomahawk arrived. So we have our appetizers and the steak served at the same time on a tiny table and they try to push everything on this tiny place, in a way that couple of times stuff were about to fall from the table which I had to keep saving them. Now imagine a steak lover such as myself has to watch her food getting cold because they just couldn’t manage bringing the dishes in their right order. I know they wanted to assure saving time but they could have done that in the right places like serving drinks on time not when it comes to the food. It just felt like all that matters is that you eat and get out as soon as possible. Even though we still had most of our 1:30 planned hour left. For a location which you would definitely go to also enjoy the experience and not just to get full, what happened yesterday is beyond unacceptable and not up to the Standards the place sets for itself. I hope at least someone will look into this not happening to others. So that people can leave the place with a...

Of course we knew it would be expensive, of course we knew that there is a hype .... I have tried to think about which points I can evaluate objectively and thus for others comparable ... These are: 1. Quality of the food, value for money 2. Service 3. Atmosphere.

To point 1 ... I had the 60 € Burger. The bread was dry and cold. The meat was tender and pretty tasty, but the main taste unfortunately the dry burger bread made. In addition, a few onions and a slice of cheese carelessly was in between. The burger came with a portion of fries that were certainly not handmade and tasted between my homemade fries (disgusting) and McDonalds. A small bowl of ketchup ... that's it. Was it worth 60€ - never ever !

To point 2 ... We were received very friendly and led to our table. There a nice waiter greeted us, introduced himself and explained us the menu. Surprisingly, he forgot to ask us how we would like to eat the meat ... Something unusual for a steak restaurant with such prices... After ordering only 4 times the € 60 burger and a few beers (€ 15 each), we have not seen anything from our server for a long time. At the next table, which was occupied by 5 pretty young women, I was able to find him again together with 3 other waiters. Understandable from a mans point of view, from the perspective of a guest in no case.

To point 3 ... unfortunately we were there in the low season, the restaurant was not so busy. The place is nice with some olive trees, but I think nothing really special ... maybe during the day or for a sunset it has a spectacular view. Sure it's different and entertaining if Nusret himself would be around, crowded place, nice and loud music... but not for us.

So... In summary, it was unfortunately very disappointing and in my opinion far too overpriced. But if you have enough money so it does not matter if a dinner costs 25 € or 500 € and it's important for you to make 1 nice photo for instagram, then this may be a very nice restaurant, not in all other circumstances ...For so much money I expect very great food and top service ... both was...

Ένας τόπος για νεόπλουτους: ή είσαι διάσημος, instagrammer ή ποδοσφαιριστής… αλλιώς καλύτερα να μην πας. Τα χρήματα δεν έχουν σημασία, αυτό που μετράει είναι το Instagram σου.

Κάναμε κράτηση για τις 22:30, αποδέχτηκαν την κράτηση. Την επόμενη μέρα, μας κάλεσαν για να δουν αν μπορούσαμε να την αλλάξουμε για τις 22:15 και τους είπαμε ότι θα προσπαθήσουμε να φτάσουμε στις 22:15 αλλά δεν το υποσχόμαστε επειδή εξαρτιόμασταν από τον οδηγό μας, βρισκόμασταν στο Kalesma Mykonos.

Φτάσαμε στις 22:28 (έχουμε την απόδειξη από το uber) και ωστόσο φύγαμε στις 23:20 (επισυνάπτω φωτογραφία της απόδειξης για τα ποτά όσο περιμέναμε) χωρίς να έχουμε καθίσει.

Ο τύπος μας προσέφερε το χειρότερο τραπέζι (ένα τραπέζι για 8 άτομα όταν ήμασταν 4 και κάτω από ένα ηχείο· επιπλέον, με τον θόρυβο δεν μπορούσες να ακούσεις το άτομο που είχες δίπλα σου) και μας είπε κυριολεκτικά ότι ήταν επειδή δεν είχαμε φτάσει στις 22:15… δηλαδή μας τιμώρησαν. Κάτι απαράδεκτο για ένα εστιατόριο αυτής της κατηγορίας.

Είναι απίστευτο. Το χειρότερο είναι ότι υπήρχαν ελεύθερα τραπέζια για τέσσερα άτομα. Αλλά μας είπε ότι αυτά τα τραπέζια ήταν κρατημένα… ωστόσο, σε εμάς δεν μας επέτρεψαν να κρατήσουμε συγκεκριμένο τραπέζι. Δηλαδή, ή είσαι διάσημος, instagrammer, ποδοσφαιριστής… ή θα σε αντιμετωπίσουν σαν δεύτερης κατηγορίας.

Είδαμε να περνούν αρκετοί άνθρωποι μπροστά μας… εμείς ήμασταν “τιμωρημένοι” και ήταν ανίκανοι να μας καθίσουν σε 50 λεπτά…

Εδώ τα χρήματα δεν έχουν σημασία, μόνο αυτό που μπορείς να ανεβάσεις στο Instagram.

A place for new rich: either you’re famous, an Instagrammer, or a footballer… or you’d better not go. Money doesn’t matter; what counts is your Instagram.

We booked at 10:30 PM, and they accepted the reservation. The next day, they called us to see if we could change it to 10:15 PM, and we told them we’d try to get there by 10:15 PM, but we couldn’t promise anything because we depended on our driver, as we were in Kalesma Mykonos.

We arrived at 10:28 PM (we have the Uber receipt), and yet we left at 11:20 PM (attached is a photo of the drink receipt we had while waiting) without being seated.

The guy offered us the worst table (a table for 8 when we were 4, and under a speaker; plus, with the noise, you couldn’t hear the person next to you) and literally told us it was because we didn’t arrive at 10:15 PM… meaning we were punished. Something unacceptable in a restaurant of that category.

It’s incredible. The worst part is that there were free tables for four. But he told us those tables were reserved… yet they didn’t allow us to reserve a specific table. In other words, either you’re famous, an Instagrammer, a footballer… or they’ll treat you like a second-class citizen.

We saw several people pass in front of us… we were “punished” and they were unable to seat us in 50 minutes…

Here, money doesn’t matter; only what you can Instagram does.

Reservamos 22.30, aceptaron la reserva. Al día siguiente, nos llamaron para ver si podíamos modificarla a las 22.15 y les dijimos que intentaríamos llegar a las 22.15 pero no prometíamos nada porque dependíamos de nuestro conductor, estábamos en Kalesma Mykonos.

Llegamos a las 22.28 (tenemos el recibo del uber) y sin embargo nos hemos ido a las 23.20 (adjunto foto del ticket de las bebidas para esperar) sin ser sentados.

El chico nos ofreció la peor mesa (una mesa de 8 cuando éramos 4 y debajo de un altavoz; además que con el espacio ni escuchabas a la persona que tenías al lado) y nos dijo literalmente que era por no haber llegado a las 22.15… es decir nos castigaron. Algo inasumible en un restaurante de dicha categoría.

Es algo increíble. Lo peor es que había mesas de cuatro libres. Pero nos dijo que esas mesas estaban reservadas… sin embargo a nosotros no nos dejaron reservar una mesa concreta. Es decir, o eres famoso, instagramer, futbolista… o te tratarán como de...
