Maybe there was a cultural difference in Asia and Europe which cause a bad experience at this restaurant. I would say they have an amazing view but no comments on the food as we did not mange to order any after the service we were provided.
We are a big group of 8 and went at around 4pm which is not lunch nor dinner time and looking for just a drink of coffee or wine to rest. All was good at the entrance when we say we are a group of 8 and we order a bottle of wine and 3 coffee that was served.
We were not aware that in order to be sitted at the lower floor we need to have proper food and was even told fiercely by the service lady to come in from the balcony not to take any photos and to seriously order some food. When we tried to order some platter to share, the lady service staff was still not happy and say we will need to move to the upper deck if we are not having food and stress that this is a restaurant and we need to order food after she have help to make arrangement for the tables and service.
This was even when we say we will be moving off after the drink in around an hour and will not take up the table, her attitude was still agressive.
Just a note for asians visiting I'm not sure if its just this restauant or any others you may wish to tell them if u are only chilling or just taking a tea break or just yam cha so u will have a nice experience in such a nice greece trip.
I would only say throughout the whole 10 days trip this is the only restauant with the lady server that leave a impression with us. Overall the...
Read moreI ordered the small seafood plate and a beer. The lobster was pretty good. However, the shrimp and calamari were overcooked. They were dry and almost tasteless. The tips of tentacles were burnt and it inadvertently infested the taste of rest of the calamari with bitterness. I couldn't really taste the shells, either. Somehow they appear to be rather flavorless. Fortunately, the bear tasted good. This place seems to be on the more expensive side of Mykonos' restaurants. It certainly has good views and fast wifi to back that up. Nevertheless, I am quite disappointed of food today. 60 euros for the seafood plate and another 6 euros for the beer, I would expect it to be better than barely edible. Lastly, the guy who was taking care of me today, who might very well be the owner, constantly used term "brother" in Chinese to address me. He also used his hand to tap on my shoulder for several times. I appreciate it that he makes his effort to make customers feel welcomed, but this is just weird. I, for one, is definitely not his brother. Secondly, taping another person's shoulder multiple times without receiving reciprocal acts from the person being tapped after the first time is inappropriate, and that is especially true in such a restaurant setting. Given all the previous positive reviews, my plate could just be a one time hiccup. That being that, I personally wouldn't bother to take...
Read moreThis was the worst dining experience we had in our two weeks of island hopping in Greece, and we went to many restaurants across three different islands. The 1 star is for the view of the water from the dining table. The food portion size and pricing were absolutely ridiculous. We are a party of 4, and we ordered stuffed mushrooms, fried calamari, Greek salad, shrimp tempura, and fried zucchini. All of these appetizer dishes were WAY overpriced, but we figured we'd at least give it a shot to see if it was good and had a decent portion size suitable for sharing. The only thing that tasted really good were the stuffed mushrooms, but they literally gave us TWO mushroom caps as an entire order for 16 EUROS. It wasn't even enough for our table of 4 to get one mushroom each to try. We had to cut them in half to get each person a piece to try.
Even worse than that was the shrimp tempura. It was €30 and they gave us 4 small shrimp on the plate. The calamari was €20 and we got about 7 rings, and there was NO seasoning on it and came with mayonnaise only on the side. I have never had someone serve me seafood with mayonnaise. I was only able to capture a picture of the €30 shrimp tempura plate so you can get a feel for what this portion size looks like.
If you want very overpriced mediocre food, you may want to give this place a shot. If not, there are many other places in the area worthy...
