Mixed reviews here. First off, the bar was fun! They played good music, kept it upbeat, and ensured it was a blast. However, the issues many of the other reviewers are having are still very prevalent. We arrived and bought multiple drinks each downstairs in the courtyard before going upstairs so that we would not be spilling our drinks upstairs as we danced. Because I had previously read reviews, I had chatted with our waiter about going upstairs and how that worked. He said just to bring our drink receipt up and show it. After standing in the queue for the upstairs disco, the bouncer at the top said that we needed FULL drinks IN HAND otherwise we had to buy some right there. I showed him the receipt explaining that we already got drinks and he said again we needed current drinks in our hand to be let in. Not wanting to buy fourth drinks in such a short period of time, we then went back downstairs to talk to our waiter again. He again said that all we needed was the receipt and talked to another employee. That employee was then shouting up the stairs for them to let us. Clearly they disagreed because we awkwardly stood there and they shouted over the music back and forth. Anyways eventually the bouncer stamped our hands but made it clear this was a ONE TIME exception and that next time we needed full drinks. Not sure that there will be a next time because we struggled to keep the vibes up after that. Also entire side note, unfortunately a tray of glasses or such broke on the bar when a girl knocked into it. No big deal and not sure if itâs related, but a period of time after that we ordered green tea shots and as we took them I felt something hard in my mouth. I figured it was the stem of a cherry which I donât swallow so I took it out of my mouth. However, it wasnât a stem, and it looked an awful lot like a glass shard. Both people next to me that I did shots with agreed. I pointed it out to the bartender and he kind of just looked at me. Not sure if I conveyed what had happened as it was so loud, but it was...
Read morethe bar is nice the music too and the cocktails are good also but I had a really unpleasant experience. yesterday was the second time I went to the Scandinavian bar, since to access the drink is mandatory I bought a drink that I did not want to drink so I left it on the counter. A girl was impressed and accused me of putting drugs in the cocktail, I understand that these unpleasant events can really happen, but being a respectable and polite person who always addresses women very politely it was terribly embarrassing to be turned away from the bar by the bodyguards without even having the opportunity to defend my personso I offer my compliments to the timeliness of security but they should have the tact and the intellect I do assure you the person in front of you because with a lot of modesty I am absolutely not comparable to the figure of a profiteer of women being also a 20 year old guy hope explanations and excuses for the terrible...
Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience at this bar. When we were told to join the VIP area, we were shocked by how disrespectfully we were treated by some of the male attendees there. Despite this, when the situation arose, a member of staff shouted at us to leave without even hearing our side of the story or understanding what actually happened.
What made it worse was being told that the bar doesnât care about how much people spend â yet they allowed the same male attendee, who had behaved terribly, to stay simply because âhe paid a lot of money.â This felt incredibly unfair and contradictory.
As two girls on our own, we felt unsafe and deeply let down by the way we were treated. Itâs a shame because the atmosphere could have been enjoyable, but the staffâs handling of the situation left us truly...
