Nautilus — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just returned from an incredible dinner at Nautilus and I'm still thinking about that grilled octopus! My partner and I stumbled upon this place while wandering through Mykonos Town and honestly, it was the highlight of our entire trip. The location is perfect - right in the heart of town but tucked away enough that it doesn't feel touristy or rushed. The Food: We started with the grilled octopus that everyone raves about, and wow - it was tender, perfectly charred, and had this amazing smoky flavor that paired beautifully with their homemade olive oil. For mains, I had the catch-of-the-day (some local fish I'd never heard of) and my girlfriend went for the seafood risotto. Both dishes were incredible - you could taste how fresh everything was. The fish was cooked to perfection and the risotto was creamy without being heavy. The Atmosphere: They've really nailed the "eating at a local's house" vibe they're going for. The space feels intimate and cozy, but still elegant enough for a special dinner. We sat outside and watched the sunset while sipping their signature cocktails (try the one with local herbs - can't remember the name but it was amazing). Service: Our waiter Dimitris was fantastic - he knew the menu inside and out and helped us pick the perfect wine to go with our seafood. No rushing, no pressure, just genuine Greek hospitality. When I mentioned I was a bit nervous about trying sea urchin, he brought me a tiny taste first which was such a nice touch. The only "complaint": We were so full from the amazing food that we barely had room for dessert, but the traditional Greek yogurt with honey they brought us was the perfect light ending. The wine selection is impressive too - they have some excellent local varieties that you won't find at the typical tourist spots. The whole experience felt authentic and special, like we'd discovered a real gem rather than just another restaurant. Already planning to come back on our next Mykonos trip. The best meal we had in Mykonos! Excellent food, from starters to dessert. Drink and wine offerings are good and fairly priced. The Sea Bass was excellent and served table side, the pasta dishes were fantastic as well. My family was quite possibly the only table in a nearly full restaurant that was not a return Customer. Customers from all over Europe were dining. The owner Eirini remembered all of them and greeted each of them like family. She and her staff treated us, the newbies, like we dined there every week! The service was first class and matched the food! Do not miss this restaurant when in Mykonos. Make a reservation and request to sit outside. The atmosphere is fantastic.

Authentic and elevated restaurant in the heart of old city of Mykonos. The food is absolutely delicious. Of course a lot of seafood, you can even choose to have grilled from a platter of fresh fish, lobster...They have the best homemade Tarama I ever tasted.
