Mediterraneo Mykonos — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

We stopped in for drinks our last night in Mykonos. The review is only of their customer service and waiter we had. By far the worst experience on the island and in the top 3 of any.

The first stop at our table the waiter seemed annoyed, in a rush and entirely forgot to ask 1 of us our order. After our drinks were empty for ten minutes, we had to flag him down to order a second. Jokingly we asked if he forgot us, to give him a hint. He literally seemed angry we would even say anything.

The drink never came, we had to flag down another waiter to ask for our check. It seemed like there was quite a bit of discord among the staff. They weren't busy at all, there were literally more staff on hand then customers. 3 of which were out smoking and could see us getting frustrated, 3 more behind the bar joking and flirting with some customers.

After our waiter who forgot us came back, he started to tell us how it wasn't his fault and blamed another co-worker. Absolutely wild in the worst way possible. He offered the drink on him to make up for it, but the situation was so ridiculous we left.

There was management on staff the entire time aware of what happened and just looked on. At this point, if they cared they should have addressed the situation in person.

Just because the restaurant is in the vicinity of an upscale trendy pretentious club, they apparently believe they should treat their customers the same. Avoid at all costs, in 7 days on the island we had nothing but great customer...

We had the most wonderful dinner at this Italian restaurant in Mykonos. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the team, who were attentive without ever being intrusive. The setting was charming, with a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that made the evening feel special.

The food was simply outstanding – authentic Italian flavors prepared with real care and fresh ingredients. Each dish was perfectly balanced, from the starters to the homemade plates and the beautifully presented desserts. The cocktails were just waw ! The pairing recommendations were spot on.

What really stood out was the combination of genuine hospitality and top-quality cuisine. In a place like Mykonos, where there are so many dining options, this restaurant truly distinguishes itself. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again.

Dining at this Italian restaurant in Mykonos was like taking a journey through two beautiful destinations at the same time — the soul of Italy and the magic of Greece 😄

Cramped, Pricy, Average food and below average service. I recommend D'Angelos down the road! We got a few pizzas and drinks while there but the strangest thing was that before we were able to sit down the waiter is insisting on us ordering drinks. I had to be firm and say, no we would like to look at the menu please. Ended up ordering some beer and soda water - definitely the most I have ever paid for water outside Ibiza - 8 euro! 😅 The waiter then came along a few minutes later and moved out table into a more cramped position than it already was without asking us - quite rude seeing as there was limited place to sit already! Super cramped! The pizzas were pretty delicious - great dough which was soft and moist at the table. Their pizza sauce was a lovely & fresh. However it's a bit strange that the burrata on the pizza was added quite late so was cold and hard on the inside instead of runny and gooey as typically served. Not my favourite place on the island but will do ok if other options...
