We like Waves Taverna very much. It is located right on the beach, where the waves live up to the name and offers an authentic Greek dining experience with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious, especially the stuffed tomatoes—a must-try dish, full of flavor and clearly home-cooked. The prices are very fair, and it’s refreshing to find a place that isn’t a tourist trap but instead serves honest, traditional Greek food.

Overall experience was great. Both the portion sizes and quality of the food were excellent. For 15€, we had delicious and tender squids, served with generous and well-seasoned sides. The swordfish, also 15€, was equally tasty and perfectly cooked. Even my girlfriend, who usually doesn’t finish her meals, was fully satisfied with both the quantity and flavor.

The best restaurant! First went there in 1985, had our wedding reception there in 1997, several other holidays over the years and went back again this year. Angelo and his family are always welcoming, cook the best food and the views are amazing! Restaurant is lovely and great for an evening meal with a brilliant view of the sunset, but there is a shower outside for if you are coming in off the beach for lunch, and toliets are by far the cleanest in San Stefanos !
