My recent dining experience at [Restaurant Name] left me with mixed feelings. Despite high expectations, several aspects of the meal fell short.
Chicken: The chicken, though flavorful, was slightly overcooked, resulting in a less-than-ideal texture that detracted from the dish.
Tabbouleh: What was advertised as tabbouleh was, in reality, more akin to a couscous salad with diced tomatoes and cucumbers. The dish lacked the vibrant, herbaceous quality typical of authentic tabbouleh and needed a touch more citrus to elevate the flavors.
Greek Salad: The Greek salad was underwhelming, missing the hallmark of a good one—ample olive oil. Additionally, the presentation suffered from inconsistency, particularly with the onions, which were carelessly chopped without uniformity.
Fried Potatoes: On a positive note, the fried potatoes were a highlight. Crispy and well-seasoned, they were the standout dish of the evening.
Dessert: The complimentary dessert provided to one of the diners was delightful, perfectly prepared and a pleasant conclusion to the meal.
Despite some enjoyable elements, the overall experience was lacking. There seemed to be a need for more rigorous quality control from the kitchen, especially concerning the preparation and presentation of the dishes. Given these issues, I would hesitate to return or recommend this establishment, despite it being suggested by a local. It's a pity, as the potential for a memorable dining experience...
Read moreFrom start to finish, this was an unforgettable dining experience. The food was authentic, extremely fresh, and full of flavours to die for—every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. The service was equally outstanding, attentive without ever feeling rushed. We were lucky enough to sit at one of the harbour side tables, and the view was truly spectacular—such a perfect setting to enjoy a meal. Everything is also made in house! The prawns with tomato sauce and feta just melt in your mouth!
We started our honeymoon here, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating and generous. A special mention goes to Marino, the manager, who was one of the kindest and friendliest people we’ve ever met in hospitality. His warmth and generosity made the evening even more memorable. The entire team’s hospitality and kindness are unmatched. I can’t recommend this place highly enough—an...
Read moreWhat a disappointment. The Taramasalata is the worst we've ever had. Ever. They need to actually put some tarama into it to give it some flavour. Trying to be so cheap and rip off tourists who dont order a burger (which looked quite nice going to other . tables). The next disaster was the "Fava". Again trying to be super cheap. It was mashed potato with garlic and salt. Maybe a couple of beans. Terrible. The mussels in mustard, garlic, wine sauce were ok but the broth was too salty.
The icing on the cake was getting charged for the water that was never served. So thankful we didnt try any of the more expensive meats or home dishes.
Stop ripping off tourists with your 'Greek' food and get...
