MILOS seaside cafe restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

After receiving enthusiastic recommendations from the Greek staff at our hotel, we decided to visit MILOS at the end of September 2023. It was a Sunday around noon, and the restaurant was packed, mostly with locals, which was nice to see. However, our order never arrived! After finishing our drinks and waiting for 35 minutes, I asked one of the waitresses about our order. She mentioned they were very busy but later returned to inform us that they had run out of what we had ordered. She neither apologized nor showed any politeness. We were charged for our drinks, and we left. At the very least, they could have offered the drinks on the house as a gesture of goodwill for the 40-minute wait. Personally, I will never return. I understand the Greek staff may be tired after a long summer, but maintaining basic service skills...

First visit, was not so bad, but you have to wait for waiter over 15 minut, and they gave us wrong bill, idk how they could mistake it, there were literally no crowd (around 13/14). Second visit, same, waiter came after 15 minutes to take our order. There is only one waiter during the day. I ordered pork steak and in menu it was with baby potatoes and salad. The place was very average in terms of food. Nice views and decor, but the food (which is the most important thing in a restaurant) was average. The sweet items, like the pancakes and waffles, were quite good, but the savory items, especially the "avocado" sandwich, were a disappointment. It was some kind of avocado sauce from the supermarket (not very good, by the way). If you want to sit down and enjoy some sweets and coffee, then definitely go there, but for brunch, I recommend finding...
