Σουβλάκι Νίκος — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We went in and order two gyros and waited 20 mins while the guy making the food severed atleast 10 more people who came in after us. We kept asking are u making our food and he brushed us off or ignored us. He kept his back to us dancing and ignoring us we would have left however we had already paid. So eventually I just asked him are u actually going to make our food or are u just making us wait, and he again brushed us off and said ‘one moment’ but he was legit just standing there dancing and ignoring us. I said if ur not going to make our food can we just have our money back, he stormed off gave us are money back and laughed. It was the worst experience ever especially as I have an young daughter who was very excited to go here,...

They didn't even look at us on our way in. Never adressed us to take an order They were absolutely ironic and rude. We just asked for potatoes and he answered that he can only give me one portion of what we ordered because he is busy making orders for others (his exact words) !! As if we are not customers ourselves. Plus the place was an absolute mess. The showed us their backs we showed them ours. Never go near that place..It's shame for the cretan...

I felt so unwelcome I almost left. Thats the only negative experience during my holiday in Crete. They ignored me for a solid 10 minutes after I came into the shop. The waitress didn't speak any english which isn't an issue, but it's her attitude of not even trying to. The boss has a bad temper. The pitas are pretty good though. It's a shame they're so unfriendly I think they don't welcome tourists here. Better to try...
