Having dined at Jot on two separate occasions, we can confidently declare it as the best Indian restaurant we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The best Indian food in Crete!... Oh wait the only Indian food we have tried so far in Crete!

We eat a LOT of Indian food as a family and we all thought that this restaurant was delicious. I will come back and edit this review if it's not the best one we try on our trip!

We really did enjoy the food here. Everything tasted fresh, full of flavor, they nailed the spice level for the couple of dishes we wanted spicy compared to the ones we didn't. The Onion Bhaji's as the starter were some of the best we had ever had! So flavorsome! Homemade chutneys were delicious as well. Just missing a spicy option.

While you can get a wide range of drinks from alcoholic to non I choose the fresh orange juice which was lovely on the very hot day.

They were even kind enough to go out of their way to make a Chana Saag dish for us even though it wasn't on the menu. It was delicious.

Staff were friendly, dishes came out quick, great view of the ocean, lots of vegetarian options like usual at an Indian food restaurant, nothing to...

What a find..!! an authentic Indian restaurant, right on the front of Rethymno. We are lovers of quality authentic Indian food and often find it difficult to find a really good restaurant in foreign countries, especially tourist based areas. But Jot did not disappoint, the curries were very flavoursome and spiced to our liking by the chef, the spiced mixed chilli Nan bread was wonderful, and the Pulao rice was light and beautifully fragranced with saffron. This family fun restaurant and it’s staff were so welcoming, polite and attentive. If we came back to Rethymno we would definitely return to this Indian...
