Hands down the worst food I’ve ever had. Honestly, if I were starving on the street and they offered me a free dinner, I would still turn it down. Choosing this restaurant was a massive mistake.
The experience was ruined not only by the bland, overpriced, and poorly prepared food, but by the shockingly rude service. While a few of the waitresses were kind, there is one in particular who clearly has no interest in doing her job. She struggled to take a simple order, got it wrong, and then yelled at us as if we were the problem. It was bizarre, confusing, and honestly insulting.
This place is the definition of a tourist trap — expensive, inauthentic, and staffed by people who seem to resent your presence. Do yourself a favor and choose a restaurant with actual local flavor and hospitality. Avoid this place at all costs.
Responding to business: Aug 9
I stand by my review and my account of the experience at your restaurant. The way your staff, particularly one waitress, spoke to me was unprofessional, and my comments reflected my genuine reaction to that treatment. At no point is it acceptable for a server to respond to a customer’s request with hostility or raised voices.
Yes, mistakes happen in restaurants. Receiving the wrong pasta and drink would not, on their own, warrant a negative review. The problem was not the error itself, but the attitude and behavior that followed when I politely tried to correct it. What you describe as “insults” were my observations after repeated issues and a dismissive response from the waitress , which were entirely unnecessary given the circumstances.
Your claim that I told staff “everything was very tasty” when I did not even receive my main course because you forgot to even put it through is not true, nor does it change the fact that the food was subpar. Suggesting that I fabricated my account is both inaccurate and unprofessional.
Rather than accepting any responsibility or even acknowledging that my experience could have been handled better, your reply chooses to attack my character. That, unfortunately, only reinforces my impression of how little regard is given to customer...
Read moreI actually left writing this review until the next morning to try and be more generous than I would have been last night. It didn't help... Party of 7 of which 2 really wanted to eat fish. The restaurant also offers meat and veggie options, so a table was booked. One fish dish was nice (sea bream roll), but it seemed more like a lunch portion than a dinner portion. The tuna was overcooked and way too salty. The lamb dish was lovely, but only contained 3 small (well XS) pieces of lamb, the rest were veggies. The chicken legs and grilled vegetables were actually nice. However 2 of us ordered the mixed grill. One half of the meat was undercooked. The other half was overcooked. The meat was also very bland. As a result these dishes remained mostly uneaten. When the waiter asked how the meal was, we informed them of our findings. Halfway through he just walked off. He obviously didn't care. Never ever again will we eat here or recommend this restaurant to anyone! The 1 star is still...
