Disappointing Experience Despite Good Flavors This restaurant presents itself as a high-end, upscale establishment — but unfortunately, the execution falls far short of the image it tries to project. 1. Drinks: We ordered an Aperol Spritz, which was, quite frankly, undrinkable. It consisted almost entirely of ice and water, with none of the expected ingredients present. It was more like frozen water in a glass than a cocktail. Strongly advise against ordering this. 2. Amuse-bouche: While a nice gesture from the chef, the texture of this appetizer poses a genuine risk to guests with dental work or dentures. It adheres strongly to teeth and could lead to accidental damage or loss. This is a detail that should be carefully considered in menu design. 3. Sharing Policy: We explicitly informed our server that we intended to share dishes, and were told this would not be a problem. However, the portion sizes and plating are clearly not designed for sharing — they are strictly individual. This lack of alignment between staff communication and actual presentation caused unnecessary inconvenience. 4. Service: Service throughout the evening was inconsistent and at times unprofessional. For instance, when offering wine, the waiter asked guests to raise their hands. One of our guests didn’t react in time and was simply skipped over. Such moments added to an overall sense of inattentiveness and lack of refinement. The biggest issue, however, is that the service and bar quality significantly undermine the experience. The bartender in particular seems unqualified, especially in an establishment that aspires to fine dining standards. In summary: The food itself was well-executed and flavorful, which makes the shortcomings in service and bar quality all the more frustrating. With better training and attention to detail, this restaurant could deliver on its promise — but for now, it remains a case of style over substance.

A nice and quiet spot with a lovely view of the sea and the Acropolis, just a short walk (about a quarter promenade) from the harbor. The place is on the expensive side and the portions are quite small, but the presentation is elegant and the food is well-prepared. If spending around €30 per person (without dessert or proper drinks) is within your range, then it’s definitely worth trying. It was my first time tasting octopus, and I was pleasantly surprised by its tenderness and texture — especially since I usually don’t enjoy calamari. Unfortunately, the double-meat hamburger was a letdown: no vegetables, served in full corn bread, and lacking balance. Local fish tartare starter was extremely sour — almost overwhelmingly so — but somehow still addictive. However, the acidity overpowered the dish, making it hard to appreciate the actual flavors. Food arrived within 15 minutes, and card payment was accepted. I’ve rated it one star lower due to the price-to-quality ratio, limited variety on the menu, and a restroom that doesn’t quite match the standard expected at this price point.

We chose this restaurant for my partners birthday. The restaurant offers pretty views of the beach, Lindos down and Acropolis. Staff were friendly and brought us an amuse bouche to start with, which was a nice touch. The menu was vast and offfer a variety of dishes to suit most people. We ordered two starters (stuffed pepper and the aubergine) as well as bread to share. The bread was all handmade and was so tasty. For mains we had the cod (I felt was very on the small size) and sea bass. We ordered two sides which were the size for one person (we should have been told to order two of each or least been told the sides were big enough to share). We were too full to try dessert (we also weren’t given a dessert menu so just asked for the bill), we did however, think they’d bring something or say happy birthday. Especially since our hotel made the reservation and informed the team it was a special occasion. Would recommend to try! Overall a nice experience and the restaurant was busy.. that and the reviews says it all!

As a family with two young kids, we've been visiting Lindos every summer for several years now, and I can confidently say that this place has become our go-to destination for a perfect holiday. In fact, for the past few years, we've exclusively spent our time on Lindos Beach, always choosing Almyra's beach beds. The experience has been nothing short of exceptional, year after year.

One of the highlights for us is the ability to call ahead and reserve beach beds right on the water. This setup is absolutely perfect for the kids, who love being so close to the sea. The convenience of having beach service—whether it's drinks or cooked food—delivered right to our loungers is a luxury that makes the whole day effortless and relaxing. And when it's time for lunch, the restaurant is just a short walk away, offering a much wider selection of dishes that are well worth the stroll.

Our routine has become a treasured part of our holiday: enjoy the morning by the water, head up for a delicious lunch, and then let the kids nap while leaving all our beach gear and toys safely on the beds without any worries.

This year we were particularly impressed with the restaurant. A new chef has joined the team, and the menu has undergone some changes—much to our delight. The food, which was already excellent in previous years, somehow managed to get even better. The kids had fantastic options, and the staff's attentiveness to their preferences was remarkable. They even remembered what the kids liked when we returned on subsequent days, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The service at Almyra is unmatched by any other place we've visited, and if I had to bet, I'd say they're on track to earn a Michelin star in the coming years.

The owners are, without a doubt, the friendliest people we've met in Lindos. They are incredibly welcoming to tourists, always kind and understanding, and seem to anticipate our needs before we even realize them. On our child's birthday, they went out of their way to order a special cake from a local bakery, which was a huge hit with the kids.

If Google allowed it, we'd give them 10 stars. Five just doesn't seem enough to reflect how much we love this place.

In short, if you find yourself in Lindos, do yourself a favor and try out Almyra's beach and restaurant. You won't regret it. And for those looking for a more sophisticated vibe, their evening menu and atmosphere are absolutely perfect but you would want to make sure to book a...

Having visited beach restaurants with our kids across the globe, I can confidently say this is the pinnacle. Out of all the places we've dined, none have offered service as impeccable as here. The kindness, patience, and understanding of the staff are unparalleled.

The cuisine is a gastronomic delight. During our week-long stay in Lindos, this became our daily lunchtime haven. A special tip: call in advance and they might just reserve a bed for you. We always received a warm welcome, and our days were peppered with superb coffees and fresh juices served directly at the beach. They even facilitated a makeshift beachside table for our large family, making the experience dreamlike. While we occasionally ventured into the restaurant, dining on the beach was our favorite. Over six days, we pretty much sampled their entire menu. Despite each of us having our preferences, the staff always made us feel at home, offering custom-made dishes if we wished. But with their already incredible menu, we never felt the need!

This isn't our first Lindos rodeo - this restaurant has been our go-to beach lunch spot for our last two holidays here. The staff's thoughtfulness knows no bounds. They went above and beyond when they noticed our beach parasol being carried away by the wind, buying a special tool to anchor it firmly in the sand without even being asked.

Food hygiene and quality are consistent, mirroring their sparkling clean kitchen. We're already planning our next Lindos trip for the upcoming summer. If you want a sublime day at the beach paired with exquisite food, this restaurant is where...
