Ammos Beach Restaurant Lindos — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

After reading a bunch of these reviews, it's apparent that a lot of people giving bad reviews are reviewing the wrong place! Ammos does not charge 20 or 40 euros for sunbeds, but it is wedged in between two other places that do. We ate here almost every day for lunch for a week, and cant really comment on other dishes than the souvlaki and Greek salad, because that was our lunch favorite:) plus fresh orange juice and a beer, lol. The Greek salad was the best and biggest we had in Lindos, served exactly as a Greek salad should. The souvlaki was a huge skewer of perfectly grilled chicken, lots of fries, pitta bread and some veggies. Some of the staff don't speak great English, that doesn't make them rude.

Great location by the beach, getting there is a big problem town itself very narrow streets and boiling hot, car parking is major issue there is buggy service if you park your car but they don’t really clarify how its work so going back to the beach sun beds are one place 40/30€ others 20€ they hardly accept car payment you have to go to restaurant and pay it I assume beach is part of the restaurant, we used the restaurant and service and foods is good when the day is finish we ask for taxi the guy who runs the beach he said yes we end up paying him 15 € so total pay out 200€ in and I found sea water was bit dirty and very tiring day there for most of the beach is empty and noticed apart hotel pools are crowded other side of the water most of the beach is don’t charge for sun-beds as long as if you use the facilities or...

What seemed lovely to begin with went very sour for us. The meal arrived and staff where very polite and friendly. After a couple of mouthful I realised my chicken gyros was raw! I explained respectfully that it was not cooked enough and that I could not eat it. The staff handled it awfully. Told me I was lying. We said we didn’t want to cause a fuss or argue but I couldn’t eat raw chicken. They made us wait for another ten minutes whilst staff talked about us and stared at us from afar. Then came and argued with us again. We said we where happy to just leave and pay for our drinks and my partners meal. The staff handled this awfully too.
