Watch out with the sleazy waiters suggesting you to order bigger meals than necessary. I asked for a gyro and he immediately suggested get the meal better with a small salad. The salad turned out to be a full additional portion of the Greek salad (for which I was charged for). Stick to your order and be firm on what you want! Better yet just avoid this tourist trap. The food is okay but there’s better places in Rhodes! Read the other reviews. They also mention the waiters trying to throw in additional things when a basic gyro for 3 euros is more than enough!!!! The waiter tried to make the situation better by telling me I can take it to go. However, when you are on the road traveling I cannot carry food with me and didn’t plan for that. It’s hot in Rhodes it would be spoiled in an hour after walking around! Unfortunately, I saw the other reviews a little too late, so...
Read moreI've eaten in many places all over the city of Rodos, but... This one is really mind-blowing: excellent food (I took a Greek plate for 2), soooooooooo nice service. Basically, l didn't have a feeling I was a tourist in a touristy place. Nobody tried to fish me out from the crowd saying: hi my friend, where are you from? - which is as annoying as nothing else for anybody who traveles a lot. All in all, they are presenting something very unique in today's world: kindness, and authenticity. The prices are much more reasonable than those within the old town. Go and try! The only hard part of this place is the name: I don't feel like being an ignorant, and I'm trying as hard as possible to learn new words, but seriously, name of this place seems to be unrepeatable for me... And it matters, especially when you want to recommend a place you liked...
Read moreI have tried quite a few gyro places around Rhodes so far, and this one is by far the best. I’ve gone here twice on this trip. The Master’s Gyro, the Greek Sausage Gyro, and the Constantinople Kebab Gyro are all excellent. All of the gyros are €3-4 and the masters is most like the standard Gyro. The meat is tender and flavorful. They have nice outdoor seating and restrooms upstairs. Had a few of the appetizers and liked the cheese with the glaze the most (I forget the name). A lot of the other gyro places that I’ve been in Rhodes have been quite disappointing because the meat is really chewy, and doesn’t taste like much, these are far better quality and some of the best food I’ve had in Greece. The fries aren’t the best but are about the same as most other fries I’ve had in Greece but the meat...
