Although not as popular as the famous fortress nearby, the pier with the windmills is one of the most picturesque spots in the port of Rhodes.
Unfortunately, the area looks rather neglected—perhaps the authorities prefer to spend money on preserving more prominent tourist attractions.
It’s a lovely place for an evening walk (the mills are especially beautiful in the sunset light) or even at night.
