If you wanted quick run down of the islands history, then this is the place to come. Before the cinema presentation you get to look around a small gallery. It’s quite interesting with touch screens placed around the wall. Touch your country flag to get the text in your language, it takes a while to update, but once there the text is very detailed and you do get a good overview of the islands history. On the day we went there was heavy American rock music playing which was so wrong, never understood that. In the cinema you get your glasses and you are helped on with your headsets to get the commentary in your chosen language. The presentation is excellent, with wind, water, smoke and movement in your seat. Everything is very gentle so there is no need to worry about any health conditions. There is a second movie, a cartoon animation of a chariot race through Ancient Greece. Just a bit of fun. 13 euros for 30 minutes, two movies. Great fun and it will make you grin. Highly recommend if you want to know the...
Read moreI think we were just too old to truly enjoy this. We’re both in our mid-to-late 30s and found the information about Rhodes very interesting. Also, the audio was pretty bad and sounded like busted speakers going off in my ears. I had to remove them from sitting directly in my ears because it was that much of a nuisance. The chariot race at the end was cute, somewhat reminiscent of Mario Kart, but was very clearly directed towards children. The staff who worked there were great and I enjoyed the bubbles and snow features! Very clean facility that was easy to get to. Not sure I’d recommend this to anyone unless they...
Read moreThe movie was marvelous. Their special effects were surprising and the fact that your seat moves at the same in the movie was definitely my favorite part. Just be careful with your stuff because they can get a tiny bit wet if you leave them on a seat.
In my opinion, the first movie was quiet complete with its storytelling. You get easily transported in the story and feel like you are witnessing it. Before entering they ask you in which language you wish to see the movie and they have a big choice with languages that are not usually proposed in other places which was a nice touch. Before and after the watching of the movie you can discover the history of Rhodes through some information displayed on the walls which were really...
