Blue Lagoon — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

I honestly was dissapointed in coming here, we came to blue lagoon earlier today and we honestly didnt even know they were open with the fact that there was litterly only 3 people inside the tavern like wayy in the back, ill give the waiter we had 4 stars, and thats cuz he showed proffesionalism and patience, he didnt hover over us, we ordered 4 burgers and 4 colas, in my own experience i would rather reccomend someplace else for food. 1 easy way to see if a restaurant/tavern has good food is how the burgers are, our burgers werent satisfyin to look at, tasted bland and dry, the only seasoning that was there were on the fries and those too were kinda bland and honestly felt like they were microwaved, the burgerbuns were crispy but tasted burnt multiple places, but then again as i stated earlier i could recomend multiple other places for food, the atmosphere in the tavern wasnt exactly the best nor the worse, could be better thats for sure, We paid all in all around 40-43 euros total The kinda pirate/sailor theme is pretty cool but kinda much, menu binders could get a rework and they looked old and the plastic covers inside them for the menu items itself litterly looks like its about to crumble to pieces, when we first heard of blue lagoon and saw some pictures of the place it sounded like a cool place to go to eat, place is cool but the food isnt that great and honestly left alot lacking. So far tho i havent tasted any of the alcaholic drinks that they serve so i again cant say anything, i wish i had taken a picture of the burger to show you, but take my word for it it was just unsatisfying If they ever happened to make better burgers sometimes in the future id be more than happy enough to try again but not in The foreseeable future. Then again the staff was nice and the waiter we had was kind, showed patience and thats why im giving the service a 4 star

Blue lagoon is a nice pirate ship themed tavern located right in city rhodos. While the tavern is nice to look at, the service was very bad. We arrived rather early at 7pm and had to wait for half an hour for a friendly waiter to take our order ( the tavern was super empty atm ). Since we had time anyway we weren't really annoyed because of it. Anyway as mentioned the food was good. Something special about it is that the kitchen is located at the entrance of the tavern, so every visitor can look inside. The live music started at 2030 and was greek styled. Nothing wrong here, except the playlist of the previous music was only 30 mins long at max. So we listened to the same songs 4 times until it finally started! The biggest issue through was the following. We payed our current bills and decided to order an ouzo which was watered down and on ice!!(4€) which was obviously bad and listen to the music a little longer. At this point a waiter arrived at our table and just put another bill ( the paper was super wet ) into the billjar which wasnt ours. We told him that he must have made a mistake or something and he talked some gibberish i couldn't see that much sense in. Felt like he camouflaged his mistake!!! Btw: this tavern has some kind of a play room for kids and seems like a family friendly one in general.

Still i cant recommend a visit at all since the service was overall horrendous. If you still want to visit it cause a local recommended it at some point, go there in the evening ( after 8.30pm ) and keep track of the bills!

Me and my family casually went to eat at this place. There was nice pirate theme going on that I liked very much. The waiter was nice too.

The bad things were that the price diffrences between the online menu and the physical menu. The online menu said that the pepper steak dish was 24 euro, but it was 29 euro after all. So it is bit pricey.

The food was actually bad too. The steak was not that good and my potato was not cooked. The dish had vegetables that were cold too. Some other meat dishes were tough, dry and charred. So the money got a bit wasted there.

I'd come this place to drink more than to eat.

Edit: (Responce for the owner). Most people look menus at the internet so they can decide what place to go. For example, my family looked up the internet menu to see the prieces and what the menu had. I'm pretty sure that some people don't run aroud the city or what ever the place is to see what the prices are or what is in the menu. So correcting the internet menu for these kinds of inconviniences is one way to make your customers even a little bit more happy.

+Some extra complain about the toilets which didnt have any toilet seats or the lid so I had to sit on the cold toilet. The smell on the toilets were...
