This Starbucks has plentiful outdoor seating where you can view the beautiful harbor of Rhodes. It is around the corner from the post office. Greece does not sell half 'n half but Starbucks has it. They put it, and the sugar, in for you. That's the way it goes in Greece. Iced coffee drinks are called "fresco", but Greece invented the cappuccino fresco, my favorite drink. The baked goods offerings are American sweet and not recommended for those watching for sugar overload. They are pricey as well, as is the coffee compared to other local offerings. Additionally, you cannot use your Starbucks card here which I found to be a huge disappointment. If I could give 3.5 stars, that would be my rating because there are so many other coffee shops that are just as good or better, and their prices are less. However, if you are hankering for your favorite Starbucks drink, you will be tickled pink to find it here. It also offers the largest serving of coffee on the island. Read moreIt's the most terrible Starbucks venue I have ever been to. The staff are not friendly. I visited this place three times and three times I had issues with them. Can it be a coincidence? Today they skipped me in the line. 4 customers after me got their orders and I was still waiting for my coffee. Then they have this weird names of sizes of cups here. 'Tall' means small and if you want a large coffee you have to ask for 'venti' size. On my question if it is in Greek language an employee said that it was in English with an angry voice. Excuse me, I speak 8 languages and I know for sure that 'venti' is 20 in Italian and not large in English. Terrible. I am so furious. I have been to many Starbucks shops all over the world - in Paris, in Miami, in Mexico etc. The Greek one in Rhodes is the worst. For €7 coffee I expect the way better...
Read moreThe behavior of the staff member who took my order was very unprofessional and rude.
When I approached the counter to order a tall latte, the staff member, whose name was listed as “Eva” on the receipt (although she was not wearing a name tag), asked me whether I wanted it hot or cold in a very aggressive and rude manner. I explained that normally, if I do not specify, the barista understands that I want it hot. Despite this, she continued to speak to herself in Greek and laugh with her colleague, which was very disrespectful.
Her attitude was entirely inappropriate and not in line with the customer service standards I expect from Starbucks. This experience was particularly disappointing because it occurred under the Starbucks brand, which I have always associated with...
