George's Special — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Beware of scam! We were here in April and just happened to walk by when the restaurant owner, an old man in his 60s, deceived us with his supposedly "cheap" menu for two. He seemed hospitable at first, but that was a deception... The food was delicious, but the amount was extremely small for two people. And by small, I really mean tiny! It would have been enough for just one person, and the portions were served extra little to us. To add to that, the owner served us a salad for extra 7€, even though we didn’t want it. In the end, we had to pay for many so-called extras that weren’t mentioned before. He even included the tip in the meal’s price! Such insolence, and he also refused to return our change money! Then he started being rude too. There are a lot of great restaurants in Rhodos, stay away of this one!...

this is hands down one of the nicest “snacks” i have ever had. situated in the nea agora, right next to the main bus stop in rodos, this restaurant is a gem. the nea agora is full of little stalls and markets, so this is a lovely place for a break and a bite to eat.

we came here for a quick snack and it was lovely. the croquettes were home made and cooked perfectly. filled with ham and cheese, they were very tasty and very filling.

the flat bread was very fresh and went so well with the hummus. the hummus was so tasty, some of the nicest hummus i’ve ever had. it tasted very fresh and had so much flavour.

Had perfect dinner for the family, food was well prepared and tasty. Very good Service. Unfortunately following night all family members eating seafood (kalamari and codfish) got such bad food poisoning that we needed to go to hospital. It all happened 4-6 hours after dinner, and we hadn’t eaten anywhere else during the day. Also those family members eating something else than seafood had no symptoms. And I am now giving the feedback really for George’s place, not the neighborough scam place with old duck trying to scam your money. It is a pity, as we liked the place, but obviously the cold chain or food preparation...
