Reviews about this place all seem pleasant however our visit for dinner was anything but that. To start off we asked how are their Pina Coladas and were told they’re “good” so went ahead and ordered 2. When the drinks arrived I had to ask if what they brought over was water as that’s exactly what it looked like, we were ensured that’s a “Pina Colada” (we think it was a sgl Malibu & Lemonade).
The waiters were quite slow at taking orders even though there’s only around 13 tables and 3 waiters on, food and drink both. One waiter even asked if we are ready to order food and then said “ok i call the waiter over” and after that we still waited a couple of minutes till someone came. It then came to ordering the food and we asked for 2 of the 500g beef steaks which came with potatoes and kindly asked if they can be switched for fries, we were told yes of course. For starter we got the traditional bread to which our waiter asked which of the 3 dips we would like so we went with hummus (he did not mention they are extra). Mains arrived and they did not switch the potatoes for fries, I’ve brought this up and said we asked for fries but the waiter seemed confused so we left it as was. Very disappointing considering the “Pina Coladas” Earlier.
With the mains we asked for peppercorn sauce & ketchup, had to go up to ask for them again as they were taking a little longer than thought was ok, both which arrived when we were already half way done with the meals. At least the sauces were nice.
It then came to the bill. We went up to pay and were given a bill where we were charged €20 for ‘cocktails’. I brought up that what we received was not an actual “Pina Colada” but all waiters & cashier looked irritated and confused. I then asked about a charge i was unsure of to be told it was the hummus for the bread. They charged us €5 for a hummus they presented as a dip for the bread. Basically paid €25 euros for glasses of lemonade and a small bowl of hummus.
There are much better places in Lindos for same/better prices for food & drinks! The only thing this place had going was the view of the cats walking on the streets (they were cute).

Read moreGreat view and looked like a great menu. When we were asked how our meal was we offered honest feedback (my mixed grill was bland and came out with a burger and a fatty lamb chop which is very odd!), we were consequently ignored and had to pay at the till, no offer to the menu for pudding or further drinks. The service alone is very disappointing as we simply offered honest feedback and would’ve liked to have ended the meal on a plus with a nice pudding!
Edit: if we’d have been asked how the meal was midway, we would have fed back but we weren’t. We did not complain but just said it was bland / plain, not inedible. It was honest feedback meant with good intentions to improve for the future! The review response saying I am ‘lying’ is disheartening, as was the response of being ignored by the waitstaff...
Read moreI do not recommend. We orderd pastas (carbonara and crema), we have never had so much grease and fat in one dish. After informing the staff, the only explanacion was, that it is the bacon. Crema pasta did not contain bacon, but tasted the same. We have had carbonara before, but this one was hard to eat. Prawns with garlic butter had no garlic taste. Overpriced and they do not know how to handle negative feedback.
We ate the food, because we were hungry, had no energy to start arguing about it. Reading previous feedbacks, you refuse to refund coffee, what to talk about 3 meals. I gave you my honest opinion and that much I know, you should preciate every feedback and grow with it. You have had the same pasta experience 2 years ago, learn about it, change recept and became better. Do not...
