Have tonight visited beautiful Lindos on Rhodes. We got up to the castle ruins 20 min before closing time, we did not know this before we got up there, and here they ask for 7.50 eur per person. No thanks also we go down again to find one of the many rooftop restaurants found in the town. We does not choose the first or the second, but the third. Manolis we talk to a sweet and friendly young lady who gets "sold" Manolis to us. We are now about to be well hungry, the daughter order a kids spaghetti with meat sauce. We adults order stuffed tomatoes and risotto. We also choose once garlic bread with tomato. We get our drinks and appetizers pretty quickly, but after 40 min we still have't got our main course. We turn to the waiter, who will obviously discuss with us that we need to be patient as it is busy ..... I think it seems strange that people who have come after us and ordered after us are served their food before us. ... we should probably have taken the first restaurant then we might have escaped having to discuss with a waiter. But all in all not very good food in relation to the price which was very expensive. When we order expensive food according to the conditions, with such fierce competition, we expect extremely delicious food. Food was not...
Read moreFood: way too pricy for what you get. Small portions, regular taste. Stuffed mushrooms were hidious. TWO mushrooms with filling and microwave-melted cheese on top for 10€. Small piece of Halloumi with 3 or 4 pieces of vegetables for again 10€ (might have been 11€, don’t remember honestly). Souvlaki was good though, but again: 18€ for one skewer with 4 pieces of meet and a few french fries. We had a look on other peoples food as well. Garlic cheese bread is one slice of grey bread with some cheese and garlic. You order what you get. Nothing more. Just the bare minimum.
Service: overall nice and fast. But after the we got served the food we felt like ghosts. When I put the last bit of my meal in my mouth our table got cleaned up already. I didn’t even finish chewing. Well. Time is money, right?
Ambiente: not too bad of a rooftop, not the best neither. A bit too crowded (too many tables for the available space) for my liking, but again: not only time is money, but space as well.
Bottom line: wouldn’t go again,...

We were a group of nine and chose Manolis Restaurant for dinner during our stay in Lindos – and it turned out to be one of the culinary highlights of our trip.
From the very first bite, everything tasted fantastic. We ordered a variety of starters and main dishes, and each plate was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The portions were generous without being overwhelming – just the right balance to enjoy a full meal without feeling heavy.
The wine selection was excellent and paired perfectly with our dishes. While the experience was on the pricier side, it was absolutely worth it. Much like Lindos itself, Manolis offers a refined, memorable experience that leaves you feeling satisfied and inspired.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy quality Greek cuisine in a...
