Oasis Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

It's an Ok bar, but if you're calling yourself a "Cocktail Bar" please be great at making cocktails, they are terrible at cocktails!

My wife & I visited Kolymbia for a week recently and this bar was near our hotel. They have plenty of outdoor seating which is mostly in the sun all day. We called in a few times for cocktails and/or a beer. They have a sign outside that says "the best Mojito Cubano here" so we tried one... It was the worst Mojito I've ever had and tasted nothing like a Mojito! On another occasion I tried a different cocktail (can't remember the name, it had coffee liqueur in it though) and it was awful, I can't even describe the taste but it wasn't nice! My wife agrees too, her cocktail was rum based and she may aswell have been drinking pure rum straight from the bottle!

The beers are decent and the prices are decent compared to other bars in the area. The staff were fine but they aren't winning any awards for friendliness. Although they were quick with drinks and always offered to bring them to our table.

If you like football, they have loads of TV screens and had every Premier League match possible on each screen. There's a tidy-looking pool table and you can order food, which I believe comes from "Nandos Gyros" next door.

For a cocktail bar, it's terrible, but as a place to grab a beer in the sun, it's not bad. They should hire someone that knows how to...

Horrendous experience and treatment - would NOT recommend.

We visited yesterday night around 7:30pm. Bought €25 euros worth of drinks with a plan to stay all night.

My daughter (5) was playing in the arcade area with my mum, my mum put a €5 note into the change machine and it didn’t dispense the coins. I asked a member of staff for help and they advised that the arcade area was nothing to do with them, at the same time my mum had gone to the bar to query & a helpful member of staff gave her the €5 euro in coins.

My mum and daughter went back in to use the arcade machines and a large (aggressive!) guy came over from Oasis to open the change machine (that was apparently nothing to do with them?!). He approached my mum and daughter (5!) screaming in their faces calling my mum a liar (over and over), she was shaken up and offered to give him another €5 just to diffuse the situation. He told her to keep it and swore in her face. He must have been upset that a member of staff had given her the money & their scam of an arcade machine didn’t work this time!

I am not sure why anyone would pretend that a machine hadn’t given them €5 change just to recycle the money in the same arcade?!

We left our drinks and headed to Brillantina for the rest of the night - a much better bar with a warm family...

everything was fine til it came to paying. had 2 drinks when i arrived which i paid for straight away. the next time i ordered drinks i was told they’d all be put on a tab for my table which i would pay at the end. when i went to pay at the end they tried telling me i hadn’t yet paid for the two drinks i had at the start and tried to charge me again. after much arguing with the incredibly rude staff, they eventually agreed i had in fact already paid. however then, a drunk woman sat at the bar- who i presumed to be the owner- starting telling me I hadn’t actually paid enough for the other drinks, even though I’d paid the amount the waiter had asked me too. she threatened to call the police unless i paid more. not wanting to cause trouble over 3€ i paid it reluctantly. after calling me stupid and an english idiot, she had one of her staff escort me out of the bar. i really wouldn’t recommend this place. there’s several nicer bars in kolymbia with nicer...
