Terrible experience when going for lunch today. Starting off not being able to get service for food and drinks - completely avoiding eye contact and then eye rolling and huffing when we got their attention. Older gentlemen eye rolling when we wanted to add more drinks to the order…Staff don’t seem to like their jobs and are not welcoming at all. Young lad wasn’t happy when we asked to split the bill as it was an high amount and did not have all the money in cash. Not helpful at all. Young lad asked if we needed to head back to the boat as in he wanted to rush us away! Seemed like the young lad didn’t want to be there; very rude and huffed on numerous occasions. Only good thing was the food that came semi-quick. Do not recommend the chips, tasted like it was dunked in the sea!! Might suggest hiring new and welcoming staff members, who actually will be willing to greet their guests and let them enjoy their experience! Will not be returning. A lot of...
Read morePallas Beach Taverna is a hidden gem in Lindos, Rhodes. It's located right on the beach, with stunning views of the Acropolis and the Mediterranean Sea. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is extremely helpful and accommodating.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pallas Beach Taverna with my family, and we were all blown away by the experience. We started with a selection of appetizers, including the tzatziki, hummus, and aubergine pasta. All of the appetizers were fresh and flavorful, and the pita bread was warm and crispy.
For our main courses, I had the bon fillet steak, and my wife had the swordfish. My steak was cooked to perfection, and it was so juicy and tender. My wife's swordfish was also perfectly cooked, and it was flaky and flavorful.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Pallas Beach Taverna to anyone looking for a great meal in Lindos. It's a truly...
Read moreLovely tavern on a small section of the beach to the right. The setting is wonderful as the tables are on sand so you can enjoy dinner with your toes in the sand.
Getting to the tavern is interesting. We did not visit the beach, we went there specifically for dinner because of the location. Google map was totally useless, most possibly because you cannot drive to the tavern. Instead, you have to park at the top and walk down. Google maps was useless for that too. We had to ask for directions, so did other people. It was a 15 minutes to the tavern. Luckily, it is down hill. Unfortunately that means walking back to the car after dinner is an uphill struggle. At least it was scenic and if you take it easy, it is quite a nice after dinner stroll.
The staff are very friendly and the food lovely. We had a lovely evening....
