We arrived to be seated in a lovely taverna, the waiter took our order but unfortunately when the food came out the order was not correct. The vegan burger came out as a bacon burger so the waiter took it back. What was shocking to us was how we were treated after that. The waiter that took our order came over to me after we waited some considerable time for the vegan burger and hit my arm and said that I’d ordered a bacon burger, I replied that that wasn’t possible as I do not eat meat! He went off. When we tried to pay the bill the service got worse! The woman behind the till passed our bill to the waiter who then said that we hadn’t paid the bill fully. When we said that we hadn’t ordered the bacon burger and the service plus attitude was shocking the waiter and woman both turned nasty and said he’d made a mistake and was human, yes human but he’d hit my arm and was rude! They both continued to be abusive and we said that we’d leave this review because of the abuse we were receiving. They demanded we pay and I tried to pay for the burger but they didn’t come over to take the money so we left. It’s such a shame as the location was perfect but the staff were rude and abusive !!...

But Skala's culinary prowess extended well beyond hummus. Their menu featured impeccably prepared, traditional dishes, generously portioned, leaving no room for hunger.

What added to the appeal was Skala's surprising affordability for a beachfront location in Lindos. Our bill, a mere €79 for a family of four, inclusive of drinks, felt like a pleasant surprise.

As we bid farewell to Skala, the contented smiles on our faces spoke to the joy of our authentic Greek dining experience against the backdrop of a charming beachfront setting. Amidst the trendier and pricier choices, Skala shines as an affordable and genuinely Mediterranean...

We hosted a party at Skala the day after our wedding. We hired out the whole venue for our 115 guests and it was incredible! Michalis is superb and is willing to go above and beyond to look after your friends and family. He arranged a cake and DJ. The cake was delicious and the DJ was brilliant. We opted for a BBQ & drinks package. The food was honestly incredible, he also catered for vegetarians and other dietary requirements. The drinks were flowing and our guests had the best time catching up the day after the wedding. Michalis also arranged buggies for some elderly guests who would struggle with the walk down. Me & my wife cannot recommend Skala enough and our guests still go on about the food, till this day. The staff at Skala were extremely friendly, polite and welcoming.
