Το Λιμάνι — Restaurant in Municipality of Syros and Ermoupoli

First of all, good location in the harbour. Good greek salad, and good white housewine, red mullet was good. Polite waitors... But then the negative. We were 4 persons and when we arrived there was only 3-4 other tables occupied. So we ordered, and it only took 15 minutes until the first two got their food. Then another 15 minutes for the third person, and another 15-20 minutes until the last, so the others was already finished eating when the last got the food. And we only ate regulars dishes like fried schrimp, red mullet, seafood pasta and fried fish souvlaki. The schrimps in the seafood pasta was way overcooked and hard. The fish souvlaki had a frozen taste and the grilltaste was bad, probably harsk/old oli, so not good at all. So my suggestion is that they organize better. Wonderful Dinner at To Limani

We had dinner at To Limani, a charming local restaurant right by the water. The location is perfect, the atmosphere welcoming, and the hospitality superb. The food was fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented, truly a taste of the region.

The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions, offering excellent value for money.

We would happily return and recommend To Limani to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience.

Update: We came back approx a week later. The octopus was really small, like an appetizer. Don't take the grill one, go for the vinegar version. The dessert was not on the house opposite to a Greek customs, loukumares, which was really pretty and...

What a find! The waiter works extremely hard to cater to a busy lunch crowd and yet we were perfectly taken care of. Absolutely delicious fish and the fried zucchini is a must if you go. Will be back before we leave!

Update: we did go back before we left and it was magical. We had the fried zucchini again which after travelling across Greece I can confidently confirm Stavros makes the best! The seafood rice was delicious. The service was prompt and attentive. And at the end we got to talk to the owner about the place. Very special....
