Goody's Burger House — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

The hamburger is meatloaf - not beef. Chicken looks like chicken nuggets. Fries are good. The hamburger didn't taste bad or anything - it's just not a beef burger.

Now to be honest - it might be a more sustainable burger - if I knew I was getting that. Here's what the website says:

"Our burger at Goody's Burger House is produced in Greece with a traditional recipe. That's why he breaks it! The delicious meat is fermented with breadcrumbs, egg, spices and herbs of a secret recipe, which give our burgers their characteristic taste that you have chosen and loved for years now. We do not use any preservatives or colorings in our burgers."

It was my very first visit at a Goodys - therefore I didn't know in advance if I am in a fancy burger place or just another fast food chain. Directly at the waterside, it's definitely an attractive location. It was also clean and the staff was friendly.

I don't know if they were not prepared for the lunch or hopelessly understaffed. It took more than 20 minutes to serve my beef bacon burger, fries and a drink. During this waiting time I was afraid that they forgot me. Overall, the price was above McDonald's and the taste of my burger somewhere below. If you're feeling naughty and can't quite shake your cheesy dreams feel good about smothering your Mac n Cheese in truffle oil and bread crumbs here. Price and quality sync up well, and I was more than content with my custom mac. The goddess cheese sauce (aka garlic flavored) is superb and they didn't skimp on the bacon.

I'm sure this place is still working itself into the neighborhood but I would definitely recommend revamping...
