Kioupia Ladadika — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

Do not go there ! Pour service, pour food, and the worst of it they are trying to take advantage of you being a tourist. At the beginning of the meal like ANY PLACE IN THESALONIKI, the owner/manager brought water ( we didn't asked for one but it's a costume) after ordering we asked for bread, he said it comes anyway with the water, we ask for olive oil parmesan and balsamic, also things usually comes with bread. After recieving a very BAD and not cooked risotto we tried to send it back, the guy was extremely rude ! And said " if you don't know what is risotto dont order one" ( my wife is a chef btw so we know) Once the bill came it seems higher then normal in thesaloniki, since it's all in greek we asked. It appears he "forgot" to cancel the risotto, fine. However the oil we asked turned into a bottle of oil that apparently we take back with us to the hotel 3 euro, the bread that "comes any way" suddenly forgot hes a part of the meal and turned into a bill 2 euro, the same story with the water 2 euro, the parmesan 1.70 euro, the balsamic 2 euro. Needles to say it took almost 35 minutes for the bad food to arrive which was annoying also. Anyway right next to it there is PALATI a wonderful taverna with great food music and people, do yourself a favor...

Worst experience in Thessaloniki. The bald waiter is the most arrogant we have ever seen and interacted with. When booking a table, nothing was mentioned about ordering. Upon arrival, no one looked at us for the first 15 minutes and then the bald waiter arrogantly started explaining to us that we had to order everything at once and order main courses for everyone at the table. We tried to explain to him that we were at a bachelor party and that we would drink more and we only needed appetizers (we were ready to drink a lot so that the restaurant would not have a loss from our table). The bald arrogant waiter started explaining to us from scratch how in our country we should give 300,000 euros and open a restaurant. The ugliest experience in a restaurant ever. Opposite this "restaurant" you have a wonderful tavern where the service is at the top level and they do not force orders like the bald fool. Never visit this hole because it was empty one hour...

Very bad experience! First of all we waited 20 for the menu, after that another 20 for the waiter to come, when there was time to order, we did not want to order anything at once but the waiter, a bald headed guy said that we MUST order everything at once, and on top of that everyone must order a main dish, no exceptions.. when we said that one of us is not that hungry he insisted, he even sat down to explain to us how they can not make profit if someone does not order main dish.. it is the first place in my life that tells me that i have to order something i do not want so i can stay on the table.. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER and everything because of the arrogant old bald waiter!!!! The atmosphere was shit, the restaurant next to it has live music and it is making the vibe.. AVOID THIS TAVERN, never...
