Wikipedia: Ο Γρηγόρης Λαμπράκης (Κερασίτσα Αρκαδίας, 3 Απριλίου 1912 – Θεσσαλονίκη, 27 Μαΐου 1963) ήταν ιατρός, αθλητής και πολιτικός που δολοφονήθηκε από παρακρατικούς. Η δολοφονία του προκάλεσε διεθνή κατακραυγή για τις αυταρχικές πρακτικές της κυβέρνησης Καραμανλή και των Σωμάτων Ασφαλείας, που αποδείχθηκε ότι όχι μόνο ανέχονταν, αλλά και εξέθρεψαν τον ανεξέλεγκτο παρακρατικό μηχανισμό. Η υπόθεση Λαμπράκη αναζωογόνησε τον Ανένδοτο Αγώνα του Γεωργίου Παπανδρέου και έπαιξε τον πιο σημαντικό ίσως ρόλο στην πτώση της κυβέρνησης Καραμανλή τον...

A beautifully crafted monument, but could have been placed on a pedestal. Not far from here is the "Tsimitski" shopping street. Красиво изработен паметник, но можеше да бъде поставен на постамент. Недалеч от тук е търговската улица "Тсимитски". Ένα όμορφα φιλοτεχνημένο μνημείο, αλλά θα μπορούσε να είχε τοποθετηθεί σε βάθρο. Σε κοντινή απόσταση από εδώ βρίσκεται ο εμπορικός δρόμος...

Μνημείο του Γρηγόρη Λαμπράκη στο σημείο (Βενιζέλου με Σπανδώνη) που τον χτύπησαν οι παρακρατικοί με το τρίκυκλο Γκοτζαμάνης και Εμμανουηλίδης. 22 Μαίου 1963. Μεταφέρθηκε στο ΑΧΕΠΑ τότε νέο νοσοκομείο της Θεσσαλονίκης. Αλλά δεν κατάφερε να επιζήσει. Προσωπική άποψη: Ο Λαμπράκης αν δεν σκοτωνόταν θα έγραφε ιστορία τύπου Ανδρέα Παπανδρέου.
