We had heard great things about this restaurant before coming, so we were looking forward to a nice meal and a romantic dinner. When we arrived, the place was packed. It felt like the staff were more focused on squeezing in as many people as possible than on providing a good dining experience. We ordered fried calamari, fries, tzatziki, bread, water, and two juices. The drinks came first, then the bread, then the fries—and by the time the calamari finally arrived, both the fries and bread were already cold. The calamari was extremely dry and tough, and the fries weren’t much better—also dry and clearly not fresh. The salad seemed stale, and everything had the texture and taste of being re-fried or reheated. Disappointingly, the calamari didn’t come with any sauce, so everything had to be ordered separately, which we did by adding fries, bread, and tzatziki. The only good part of the meal was the tzatziki and the bread (before it got cold). When we finished and told one of the staff—who seemed to be the owner or manager—that the food was dry and not enjoyable, he just said he didn’t understand us. But the food was sitting right there as proof of what we were saying. In the end, we paid the full price and left. It was by far the worst dinner we’ve had: overpriced, low quality, and not at all what we expected. We do not recommend...
Read moreDo not visit this place!! The service at this restaurant was utterly unacceptable. We waited an unreasonably long time before receiving menus, followed by another at least 20-minute delay just to place our order, and an additional 30 minutes before the food of only two of three from our group finally arrived. We were later informed that the kitchen had not even received my order. While mistakes can happen, what followed was inexcusable: when we politely raised the issue, it was flatly denied rather than addressed appropriately.
After the meal, we asked several staff members for the bill and a box to take our leftovers, but once again, no one returned. Our requests were blatantly ignored, and the staff disappeared without a word. The manager, instead of listening and taking responsibility, was dismissive and turned the blame back on us for not approaching him sooner and not knowing what he should do to fix the issue.
At the table next to ours, the wrong dishes were served, and every time the guest tried to raise the issue, the waitstaff simply walked away. When the guest finally spoke to the manager, their concerns were dismissed outright.
Despite the food being of good quality, the level of service and complete lack of accountability were disgraceful. In my view, this establishment is not worth visiting under any...
