We had heard great things about this restaurant before coming, so we were looking forward to a nice meal and a romantic dinner. When we arrived, the place was packed. It felt like the staff were more focused on squeezing in as many people as possible than on providing a good dining experience. We ordered fried calamari, fries, tzatziki, bread, water, and two juices. The drinks came first, then the bread, then the fries—and by the time the calamari finally arrived, both the fries and bread were already cold. The calamari was extremely dry and tough, and the fries weren’t much better—also dry and clearly not fresh. The salad seemed stale, and everything had the texture and taste of being re-fried or reheated. Disappointingly, the calamari didn’t come with any sauce, so everything had to be ordered separately, which we did by adding fries, bread, and tzatziki. The only good part of the meal was the tzatziki and the bread (before it got cold). When we finished and told one of the staff—who seemed to be the owner or manager—that the food was dry and not enjoyable, he just said he didn’t understand us. But the food was sitting right there as proof of what we were saying. In the end, we paid the full price and left. It was by far the worst dinner we’ve had: overpriced, low quality, and not at all what we expected. We do not recommend...

Do not visit this place!! The service at this restaurant was utterly unacceptable. We waited an unreasonably long time before receiving menus, followed by another at least 20-minute delay just to place our order, and an additional 30 minutes before the food of only two of three from our group finally arrived. We were later informed that the kitchen had not even received my order. While mistakes can happen, what followed was inexcusable: when we politely raised the issue, it was flatly denied rather than addressed appropriately.

After the meal, we asked several staff members for the bill and a box to take our leftovers, but once again, no one returned. Our requests were blatantly ignored, and the staff disappeared without a word. The manager, instead of listening and taking responsibility, was dismissive and turned the blame back on us for not approaching him sooner and not knowing what he should do to fix the issue.

At the table next to ours, the wrong dishes were served, and every time the guest tried to raise the issue, the waitstaff simply walked away. When the guest finally spoke to the manager, their concerns were dismissed outright.

Despite the food being of good quality, the level of service and complete lack of accountability were disgraceful. In my view, this establishment is not worth visiting under any...

AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT TOURIST SCAM Kişi başı 1.20 € ekmek parası vermek istemiyorsanız BU RESTORANT’TAN UZAK DURUN! Turist kazıklıyorlar The smallest octopus i have ever eaten 14.50 euro with only ONE leg If you are 4 person for each person they put bread money (1.20 euro x 4 = 4.80 euro) without ask how much bread do you want so i cant imagine families with children how much they will pay. When you ask this to waiter, he says this is cheapest bread price in city that is totally lie. About 1.5 -1.8 euro even corfu, parga or athens. With calamary, no one has idea about tarator souce, when you ask, they offer you pay money for souce “tzatziki” and eat with that :) Generally portions smaller than average greek restaurants and also general greek restaurants are serving free liquer or dessert or fruit after meal when you ask this waiter trying to explain you address of nearest bar :) Rude workers, price unfair, try to steal money with name under “bread” you can see on the bill, 1/2 of bread you ate is more expensive than zucchini chips (4.60 euro) even small fishes bony was tough. You are eating in crowded and hurry not relax place. The worst restaurant i have ever been in greece. if you need recomendation try “The Rouga” last year i tried deserved money real greek tavern...

This was a real high spot on our culinary travels in Thessaloniki. I’d done a little research and found some good reviews of this restaurant for its mere selection. It’s based in a cute little square surrounded by other restaurants so I imagine the competition must be quite fierce. Having worn our feet out from walking we fell into our chairs and was greeted by an older gentlemen who I believe may have been the owner. He pulled up a chair and took our order and was happy to see us (always a good start) We ordered a few small plates but decided to get the meat bbq platter to share. It only took 10 minutes for our food to arrive and we already had our drinks so the service is impeccable here. The meat platter was a nice mix of local sausage, beef, pork, lamb and chicken all in nice palatable portions. This along with our Greek salad, dips and bread was more than enough to keep us going and in fact we didn’t eat anything else that day such were the portions on offer! I loved the vibe here were you can people watch, listen to the chatter of local gossip (I assume that’s what the Greeks do too haha) and get the occasional street performer. Swinging by with his guitar. We would definitely return to this lovely little spot.
