Savvikos - Great Greek Grill 🔴 — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

I heard so much about this place that i decided to give a try, it was 13:00 pm and i can say that was really busy, but we were still able to find immediately one free table, the waitress came after 15 minutes to take our order and was not so kindly like we were expecting a waitress to be. We order a sutzukaki that was called Yaurtlu, one kind of meat rolled, 2 Gyrlu, that was gyro but not in classic pita version but in bread and 2 barrel beers and 1 cola. The first disappointment came when we got the beers, they where warm, one absolutely no go, then came the Food the Gyrlu was okay, nothing special for my taste, but the sutzukaki that was in this Yaurtlu was really awfull, was very hard, from outside burned and inside was raw. Of course the quality of the meat was not value the money that we had to pay and the staff have for sure to learn to be more polite. After this disappointing experience that we lived i could not give more than 1 Star and i am really sorry about it. I was truly expecting much after all this commercial and all this...

Clean tables and seating area. Prices ok for the area. A 3 piece plate under 9 euro at Aristotelous Square, I would consider it value for money. Visited at 16:00 afternoon with very few tables waiting and no rush in the kitchen, "politico soutzoukaki" was uncooked. Had to send soutzoukakia back to be recooked after staff agreed that they needed extra cooking Chicken souvlaki was still pink inside. Pork souvlaki same.
