And I say this as a true pizza connoisseur and devourer, who has tried countless pizzerias over the years. First of all, the location is simply perfect. Located right on the vibrant seafront of Thessaloniki, High School Pizza Bar offers an effervescent atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a delicious meal while enjoying the sea breeze. The decor, certainly unique and memorable, adds a touch of originality to the experience, making you feel like you're in a special place. But the real star is, without a doubt, the pizza. The crust, with its perfect texture - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - is a true work of art. The ingredients are remarkably fresh and the flavor combinations are simply brilliant. Whether I chose a classic Margherita, where the simplicity of the top ingredients shines through, or ventured into a more sophisticated option, each pizza was a taste revelation. I was impressed by the perfect balance of flavors and the generous portions. The service was impeccable. The friendly and attentive staff helped create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that they put passion into what they do and are proud of their products - and rightly so! While the prices might be perceived by some as slightly above average, the exceptional quality of the pizza and the entire experience fully justify every euro. I was here for brunch twice. First time (in the end of January) the experience was good: the food, the service, the coffee, atmosphere. We got the poached eggs with avocado and the tortilla with chorizo - big portions, tasty. Although poached eggs brioche was a but too sweet for my taste.

The second time I was here in March, and ordered poached eggs again. They were undercooked! The eggs whites were liquid.

I asked them to replace the dish. They did… and brought me the BOILED eggs on brioche instead😂😂😂 what?! Ok the last time they replaced it with a bit too much cooked poached eggs, but at least it was something closer to the reality😂 And the final thing that just made my day was a very bad cappuccino🙈 see the picture. All the coffee’s cremá are absent, and the coffee itself was so burnt!😬

If this was my first time here, I would rate it lower… Wanna mention that the waitress was really nice and...

After a long hiatus, we returned to that establishment, hoping to rekindle some fond memories. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The one shining star of our meal was the delightful chicken salad. Regrettably, the pizza merely met our expectations, and the pasta was utterly disappointing. In an attempt to salvage the dining experience, we ordered an alternative pasta dish, only to find it equally unappetizing.

What truly marred the ambiance, however, was the presence of a waitress who, rather unprofessionally, chose to smoke and indulge in cocktails while in close proximity to our table. While we understand the need for breaks, it would have been more pleasant if conducted with greater decorum.
