After spending 14 days at Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, where the standard is already incredibly high, we thought it would be hard to be impressed by any other hotel. Normally, we stay at Electra Palace when visiting Thessaloniki, but this time, we decided to try something new: ON Residence. And let us tell you – it was the best decision we’ve ever made!

From the moment we walked through the doors, we were blown away by the stunning elegance of the hotel’s design. You can immediately tell that every detail has been carefully thought out. The welcome we received was so warm and genuine that we felt like VIPs – and we’re not exaggerating! The check-in process was seamless and faster than we’ve ever experienced, and the welcome treats? Absolutely divine. It was the perfect way to begin our stay.

The room? Simply flawless. The décor is modern, chic, and exudes a sense of understated luxury that’s hard to put into words. The bed feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud, and the view… absolutely breathtaking. It’s as if this place was designed to be the ultimate home away from home for discerning travelers.

The room service was lightning fast, and every little detail – from the quality of the food to the attentiveness of the staff – was pure perfection. Whether it’s the thoughtful amenities in the room or the unparalleled service throughout the hotel, ON Residence takes hospitality to a level we’ve only experienced in the world’s most exclusive luxury hotels.

Even though we’ve only been here for a few hours, we already know this: ON Residence is our new home in Thessaloniki. We visit the city 2-3 times a year, and after this experience, we simply can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

I'm absolutely delighted to share my exceptional experience at "ON Residence" in Thessaloniki. From start to finish, my stay was nothing short of excellent. The staff's super-friendly and professional demeanor made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout my time there. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the extraordinary rooms that provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The attention to detail in the design and amenities was truly remarkable.

What truly set the hotel apart was its attentive staff, that made sure that every moment spent there was memorable, ensuring that my desires were catered to with a smile.

Speaking of memorable experiences, the Deluxe Seafront Rooms with Balcony offered an amazing view. Waking up to the shimmering sea right outside my window was a truly awe-inspiring way to start each day.

However, what truly elevated my stay to an even higher level was the breakfast. It was not just a meal, but a culinary journey of greek flavors and delights. The breakfast spread was super rich and offered an impressive variety of options.

The hotel's prime location and thoughtfully designed rooms provided a breathtaking backdrop that enriched my stay beyond measure.

This is an outstanding little Hotel in Thessaloniki. The staff is professional but also very friendly. They give you the feeling of a luxury hotel combined with the family oriented values of the hotel. The rooms are not huge (as expected in such a central location) but very stylish, clean, modern and new. Aside from daily cleaning, they seem to have a turn down service which is always a nice addition. Breakfast is fantastic (buffet+ a la carte, which is also included) and served either in the inside restaurant area or in the very calm outside courtyard that provides a very relaxing atmosphere. They have a new roof top bar with a fantastic view, good music and nice drinks.

The view from the room to the inside courtyard is not very nice (even though it's typical for central Thessaloniki). If you don't mind the extra charge, I feel like I would definitely recommend the sea side view. My room was right next to the elevator which has a loud signal upon door opening that I found very annoying and woke me up earlier than I hoped. If possible, the volume of this signal should be reduced. The gym is very small.

All in all I really enjoyed my stay there, even though it was only for one night. Unfortunately, at the end of my trip I did not return but wanted to try out another, bigger 5 star hotel in the harbour area. This was a big mistake as the ON residence, despite having offered the same price, plays in a totally different league and will be my preferred hotel...
