During a recent visit to Thessaloniki to see our son—who's been spending the summer there—he excitedly insisted on taking us to an Italian spot he'd fallen in love with. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were warmly greeted and invited to choose our own table. The restaurant, though narrow, exudes a cozy charm with its elevated kitchen and tucked-away bathroom just a few steps up. The layout instantly brought back memories of a delightful little place we once dined at in Montalcino, Italy.

The atmosphere felt genuinely Italian—not just in decor but in spirit. It was easy to imagine ourselves in a small town perched on a hillside in Tuscany. That sense of authenticity carried through beautifully to the food.

My wife and son both ordered the Pomodoro pasta, which was simple, fresh, and packed with flavor—true to Italian tradition. I opted for the seabass with clams, a dish I’ve enjoyed in Italy before, and this version held its own. While the clams were slightly smaller, the dish was impeccably prepared and full of coastal Italian character.

Our waiter recommended a local Merlot to accompany the meal, and it paired wonderfully—smooth, balanced, and just the right complement to the evening. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant in Thessaloniki, and I can’t stop raving about it! From start to finish, it was an exceptional culinary experience.

The Focaccia with Nduja oil was a revelation! The aroma alone was enough to whet my appetite, and the taste was simply superb. A true Italian delicacy. The Clam Vongole was a delightful surprise. The freshness of the clams combined with a hint of lemon created a dish that was both light and refreshing. The Carbonara with Guanciale was the definition of authentic Italian comfort food. Creamy, perfectly cooked pasta with that distinctive Guanciale flavor – it was a taste of Italy right here in Thessaloniki. The Caccio e Pepe was a symphony of rich, creamy flavors that danced on my taste buds. It was indulgence at its finest. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, polite, and genuinely nice, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
