An excellent upmarket (but still surprisingly reasonable) wine bar which serves extremely high quality food and local wine. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to advise customers on choices. The food (which starts at 1 pm) is superb particularly the cheese (all local) and the bruschetta with smoked salmon and horseraddish paste. The experience was beyond anything we would have ever expected. Not only did the staff hit exactly what we were craving for all three times, but also they were in perfect symphony to the whole atmosphere of the place: chill, no pretentiousness, while still extremely knowledgeable. The place was small, but honestly our company didn’t feel that it needed to be bigger to fit the atmosphere. I was born and raised in Thessaloniki, which means I have a good view from many local meeting places. This is one of the best in town! Excellent wine selection, great flavours and exceptional service. Despite being in a wine region, Thessaloniki has few wine bars. Souel is a wine bar that would be highly rated anywhere. Well done...
