A mixed experience.
I ate there twice.
The tofu dish with cabbage and mushrooms and the chicken Szechuan dish were both delicious and very good value for money but the green and red peppers should have been stir fried in the wok a little longer to bring out the flavour and eliminate any possible bacteria (4.5/5 + 4.5/5).
The eggplant dish was the worst I had in any of the 300+ Chinese restaurants I dined in my life.
Instead of the common rice vinegar, black bean paste, honey and garlic sauce this abomination was literally drowned in a sweet industrial orange sauce and was inedible (0/5).
The so called sweet and sour soup is anything but a sweet and sour soup.
It is a hastily made starchy soup with some tomato thrown in and it came as a huge portion even two very hungry people wouldn't be able to complete else there would be no space left for any of the other food (1/5).
The Tsintao Chinese beer is as always good (tastier than Japanese and South Korean beers and also cheaper) and it was chilled to the right temperature but the service which ja friendly is unfortunately too hurried - all dishes came at once to the table so for drinks, service and atmosphere it is (3/5).
The total is 4.5 + 4.5 + 0 + 1 + 3.5= 13.5/ 5 = 2.7 which is a well deserved three stars from me in hope they take my constructive criticism seriously...
Read moreAfter 4 days eating Greek foods, we tried looking for Chinese food and found it via google. the place and the girl serves us (which is hard for us to understand her English ) but typical in all Chinese restaurants that most people don’t smile a lot. Anyway we ordered chicken and pork sczechuan sauce with fried rice, big portion indeed which is typical in Greece. Food just average and a bit salty coz of the sauce but very good portion(good for 3) possibly eating in all Chinese restaurants all over the world, my palate can say which one is fantastic, my partner says it’s very good so it depends if you are Asian, Latino or white as we have different taste buds. They serve really...
Read moreThis is the best Chinese food I've had in YEARS!!! Really nice and tasty, huge portions and great prices. House wine is tasty too. Whenever we are in Thessaloniki we make sure we visit as soon as we arrive. I wish there was something like this in Preveza! I would gladly travel to Thessaloniki just to eat fried noodles and chicken!
Inside the restaurant - not the nicest of decor/rooms and the toilet is pretty yuk (old) but the food is wonderful, therefore I can overlook the rest. The owner is super friendly. An authentic night out and a welcome change...
