We had a beautiful meal in the A for Akteon restaurant last evening. We were asked in by the very polite and helpful Christos who made the whole experience first class. We were a bit weary at first as the place was empty, where as some other restaurants had a few people in. I know it's early in the season and it's still quiet, so we gave it a go. Well we definitely weren't disappointed as the food was exquisite. We got a complimentary craft of wine, well she did, I had a local beer which went down very well. We didn't get starters which we were glad about as once the mains arrived there was more than enough to suffice. My better half had the Mossaka which she said was one of the best she's had, I tried the Slovakia pork which was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. Once we had finished our meals we had no room for a desert and we were treated to a complimentary shot of Masticha liqueur which we had never had before and although it was sweet it was very nice. All in all we had a wonderful evening and experience in the A for Akton restaurant and would highly recommend it and we will definitely be giving it another visit before...
Read moreLocation , location , location but that was about it . The cliff edge dinning area can not be bettered as you are on a peninsula but it's note NOT on the sunset side . The day we were there was very windy and we checked with hotel staff if the meal would go ahead due to wind " no problem it will go ahead " . It did in fact go ahead but in retrospect it should not have as the wind made it far too cold and took the edge of the whole expensive experience . I knew it was top price ( wedding anniversary) but we did not get top service or food for that matter . Taster menu and 7 courses and most of the dishes were pre prepared and served cold ( meant to be cold ) and in quick succession . Normally I would ask staff to slow down and allow time between course but as we were so cold due to wind ( staff do provide blankets but not what you want when dressed up for a special occasion) we also wanted to finish and get out of wind . Offers to move table were very reluctant from staff and had to be almost forced out of staff . Regretfully mass market food at not mass...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - BEST PLACE TO GO !!! We went three times during our week holiday, and I can tell you that the service was the best we had in all of Santorini ! Thanks to their AMAZING staff. Chris and Sheme were always smiling and welcoming. They were caring and giving us advice and recommendations about the island. Thanks also to the boss Francesco who was very professional. As for the food, you really must try the chicken souvlaki!!!!!! We also tried the pasta which was really good too! Access to the restaurant, is easy as there is parking at the beachfront. You can use the sunbed as long as you drink and eat there, there's no minimum spend. Beds are very comfy and have the best spot in front of the sea. Many Thanks from...
