Honestly, the worst meal and restaurant experience I’ve ever had (as an ex-restaurant manager of 6+ years XP).

Waiters were very rude and inattentive, referred to me as “you” and pointed when asking for order. Seemed to have no idea about the menu.

House wine was horrific, tasted of vinegar and served in plastic cups. Took forever to arrive at the table. They also ran out of Draught beer.

Mushrooms were served in a watery broth. Calamari was overcooked, inedible. Steak was served well done when ordered med-rare. It was supposed to come with four sauces, three turned up and two were edible. My dog would have turned down the tomato fritters, soggy and flavourless. Two of us had instant tummy ache after leaving.

One of the waiters / managers in a blue shirt was walking around the bar with a cigarette in his mouth.

The restaurant left one poor staff member trying to serve a queue of frustrated people their bill. We went up twice to ask for the bill and complain about our experience and still had to up a third time after 20 minutes of waiting to actually pay.

The exasperated waitress was borderline argumentative stating they were too busy. A top tip, stagger your bookings and focus on quality over quantity. In some instances they were demanding cash and not accepting cards (not in our case) so be warned. We also got charged in Greek Lebanese which added an additional conversion charge through Monzo.

Plates and glasses being dropped left right and centre; it was like being in an episode of Fawlty Towers. The staff didn’t have a clue.

There are so many great restaurants on this long strip. Give this one a wide berth and do not be tempted by their Greek dancing and plate smashing.. it was...

Kind of pushy to get us to sit down to begin with but we had a look at the menu so we chanced it. I had the burger, herself the chicken.

The burger, bit pink for my liking, random slice of cheese in it despite the waiter not mentioning before hand there was cheese on it. But thankfully the cheese wasn't melted so I could just take that off. The burger itself was not great to put it mildly. I'd have nicer out of the freezer aisle from lidl. Also the chips were undercooked, but too hard in the middle, could have done with another couple of minutes. I have a feeling both the burger and chips are frozen despite being told everything is fresh. A fresh burger and fresh chips do not taste like that.

The chicken didn't taste great and is probably frozen also. Only half was able for consumption.

The ladies toilets were not in good condition. One of the doors didn't work, another wouldn't flush properly and the third was not tested. I was not in the gents and from my wife's remarks, thankfully I wasn't.

There also seemed to be only two people actually working. One guy running around trying to do everything and the other looked a little lost as if it was one of his first days. Best of luck to the two of them because they were trying. However there were two older gentlemen swanning around, hands behind their backs and taking photos and videos. I'm only guessing these are management, maybe not but still not a great look having two guys do everything and the other two not exactly busy.

Before I started writing my review I checked the rest of the reviews and it seems the owner is insisting everyone that posts a bad review is at the wrong restaurant. I want to be clear I was at the right restaurant- this place. I don’t usually write negative reviews but please don’t go here. We waited 2.5 hours for our food. We had to ask for it twice. In that time we saw a group of woman leave because they waited too long for their order to even be taken. We saw a large group that arrived 30 minutes prior to us be served before us the wrong orders and we saw another group of ladies not served their food at all. When one of our two plates finally came the waiter first of all did not even know the name of the plate he was serving us and admitted it. To top it off when we checked the chicken we were served it was still raw. RAW. We were horrified and sent it back when the ill looking Greek salad finally came. We decided to go to the bar and let them know we are leaving and why and that we aren’t paying for anything. They seemed unflinched by this happening and said “EVERYTHING WAS BAD, ITS FREE” Seems they are used to unsatisfied costumes. Yes, the atmosphere is fun on Thursday nights, which is when we went, but wow we could have gotten sick from the raw chicken they served us. And I anticipate a rude response from the owner not taking responsibility and claiming we were not in the right place. Just improve...
