Mermaid Beach Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

We ordered fish being told the fixed price is 55€ along with seasonal vegetables, fries and cheese balls as a starter. Our server was clearly confused and couldn't even remember our order since he came and asked us 2 times what exactly did we want as a side dish to the fish. The cheese balls came only few minutes before the fish and we're actually good. However the fish alone was undercooked and slimy. The vegetables came 15 minutes after the fish and fries another 5 after the vegetables which we declined since we refused to eat out food per partes so we ate the fish with vegetables. When we informed the staff about said problems we got offered a free shot or Rakija. We received the bill with 70€ for the fish which was undercooked and not even served with ordered side dishes. The staff argued that 55€ was price for another kind of fish. In the end we didn't even get the bill. If you want some delicious fish go further 50m to Francesco's for much better quality and...

Amazing combination of beach bar and restaurant. The staff speak Greek, English, Italian - and that's only the languages I could discern.

Food is very good for the price, the view is gorgeous and the staff are simply the best - playful and, at the same time, very professional.
