Read moreIf you go here make sure to PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN. As in on the ground. We passed by, thought it looked nice, not busy. We just wanted a drink and asked if that was possible because we know sometimes places require you to eat. We were pleased to be shown to a table with a beautiful caldera view. Two glasses of wine were reasonably priced so we were happy out! I relaxed, enjoying the wine and the view, and put my right foot up on the ledge beside me (see photo), a few inches off the ground. Within a couple of minutes, a waiter came over and said apologetically that his manager had told him to tell me to put my foot down! Ok, I didn’t realise the sight of a bit of my leg was so offensive, but whatever. However, when we were leaving, we realised I was not the problem. The manager was taking payment from a couple just before we paid and we noticed his demeanour was cold and inhospitable. When we paid, there was no interaction, no thank you, no appreciation of our business and certainly no explanation as to what was so offensive about my leg.
Interestingly, I have since read Google reviews of To Briki. There are a number of reviewers who have had a very poor experience there. It is quite shocking to see the owner, in replying, calling these reviewers liars, and also claiming to remember the specific situation.

Pity. The place looks so nice. I have sympathy for the staff who work there; literally every other establishment we have been to has been welcoming, friendly and appreciative of their customers. To work with an owner like this must make their work day a lot less enjoyable.
Guess what? I...

But after that, the manager shouted 1, 2, 3 this. He frowned and shouted "one two three this." I still don't know that this is rude.
Even though I can't speak English, I've never been treated like this Even in your last sentence, you are saying that I don't speak English. I have been traveling to Europe for more than a month Oia Village was also good in other countries The staff on the 2nd floor had good manners Boss or manager on the first floor is rude If I can't speak English, shouldn't I go to the village of fira
--------------''''''''' The boss or manager guy on the first floor was very unpleasant.
The second floor was 90 percent empty. I sat on the second floor with a good view and ordered food for 15 euros
But The boss or manager of the 1st floor came up to the 2nd floor Shouting for a seat in the corner
I don't know why the boss or manager orders me out loud
If you go into a restaurant alone, you can have this kind of thing
You can go through this in the Fira village if you order food that costs less than 15 euros
I ate quickly and came out without a fight Oia Village is kinder and has a good view
I felt good in Oia village I feel bad in the...
