Shockingly poor service. Only saving grace of this restaurant was the male member of staff who tried to be as helpful as possible (he was wearing a black apron). Completely let down by his female colleague/ waitress - long wait for food but whilst the food tasted decent, I have coeliac disease so can't eat gluten, pretty sure the chicken I was given had breadcrumbs on it.
On trying to pay, the waitress's card machine was not working after multiple attempts, had to walk back to town to get cash out only to be charged €3 for the withdrawal - she declined to deduct the charge, failing to recognise that I've been charged for the withdrawal because HER card machine failed to work, otherwise I could have avoided the fee. I also could have done a bad thing and not bothered coming back to pay. The male colleague advised her to provide the €3 deduction, which she bregudgingly did and then she proceeded to SHORT-CHANGE me! Thankfully I counted the change as I left and once again she was confused and in denial about the maths, and again the male colleague had to sort it out.
Honestly pathetic and really poor attitude - shame cos they seem capable of providing a decent service
Made the experience of our day trip to Pyrgos awful,...
Read moreYou can go for drinks, coffee or waffles…etc, but don’t go for food.
The price is super expensive, average price for main course is around 20-40 euros per person, for example chicken pasta 22 euros, pork tenderloin 25 euros, beef 35-40 euros…etc. even a salad costs 16 euros. and the appetizers are around 9-20 euros per plate.
Even the happy hour lunch set is 40 euros, and it just provide you with Moussaka, Greek salad, tzatziki…6 plates in total, which you can find in other restaurants with 20-25 euros about. Obviously this set is for tourist, no locals will order this set for sure because we know the price.
With this super expensive price we expect the food to be extraordinary, but surprisingly the food there are just NORMAL ( only salad is tasty) and small portions.
With the price we paid we could have eaten in some other real fancy restaurants in Santorini, actually most of the fancy restaurants in Santorini are even cheaper than them with much better food quality!
One time for trying is enough as it’s newly opened and we wanted to support the local business, but will never come back for food again. So...
Read moreWe only can say good things about Angelo, his team and their food. We went there for dinner and we had eaten so well that we repeated the next day for lunch. The food is amazing, we didn't order any dish we didn't enjoy. Even the strawberry ceviche, which is a really different dish, surprised me. There is a lovely environment, and the people there are really nice and polite. Angelo loves what he does and he was really concerned about that everything was good. My husband wanted to order the octopus but as I don't like it and there was too much food we didn't ordered it, but Angelo brought him a piece so he could try it. I loved the tzatziki and the meatballs. The beef salad is really spicy but the meat is soooo tender and tasty, such as the black Angus dish, gorgeous. The complimentary dessert was really good, orange cake with ice cream. But if you love chocolate you can't miss the chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious. The amounts of food are good, so as the prices. Which is complicate to find...
