The atmosphere at Souli di Mare was pleasant and inviting. We were seated promptly by the hostess and provided with both the food and wine menus. The decor was charming, and we felt comfortable throughout our dining experience. The food at Souli di Mare was a mix of hits and misses. The Greek salad was fresh and delicious, the chicken fillet was juicy and tender, and the steamed mussels were excellent. The octopus carpaccio was brilliant, but unfortunately, the langoustine moussaka fell short of expectations. Overall, the service at Souli di Mare was friendly and efficient. The staff was attentive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our meal. While the prices at Souli di Mare were reasonable, they were slightly on the higher end compared to other restaurants in Parga. It's worth noting that we experienced an issue with an overcharge on the bill, specifically for bread.’wenwere charged for 4 orders while we had only one. This oversight left a negative impression on our overall dining experience. Our experience at Souli di Mare was marred by the overcharge on the bill, particularly for the bread. This incident, while seemingly small, significantly impacted our perception of the restaurant. It's disappointing when establishments resort to such tactics, as it undermines the trust and satisfaction of their customers. I would caution future diners to be vigilant and check their bills carefully. In light of this experience, I would recommend exploring other dining options in the area, such as Allure, Delizie, or Med, which offer excellent food and service without the risk of overcharging. Overall, while Souli di Mare has its strengths in terms of ambiance and certain menu items, the issue of overcharging leaves a sour taste in my mouth and detracts from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. I hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and works towards ensuring fair and transparent practices for all customers. Edit- Unfortunately I have to reply here to your response and your response is not true. There is no missunderstanding from my side. It is pure theft from your establishment. I encourage everyone to check their menu online or a screenshot of it (here attached). It is not per person, it is per order/portion. I had an order of Tzaziki from the same menu, I was charged per portion and not per person. If I had ordered a focaccia instead, how many would you charge? What are you trying to achieve here? The least I expected is a sincere appology from your side and not an ironic excuse.

Souli is a lovely restaurant, right on the beach promenade near the jetty. My family of three ate dinner here, mainly because my daughter wanted to try a crab dish, and the owner kindly agreed to make a linguine dish for her. We all thought the food was excellent quality, but be aware that this is reflected in prices that are much higher than competing restaurants nearby on the promenade. We tried three other tavernas on the same strip, and ate from between 45 to 60+ euros, whereas Souli cost us 80 euros. The crab linguine was around 25, my spaghetti vongole was 19.50, and my wife's delicious freshly fried fish and chips was 18.50. Two small glasses of house white at a rather expensive 6.50 per glass and a coke made up the bill. But we all loved the very good food and the ambience. It was a really pleasant experience overall - but you can get food of pretty much the same quality at better value prices if you check the other restaurants nearby. Service was very good. I'd go back, despite the higher cost.

During our visit to Parga, we had the pleasure of dining at Souli, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Their warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch to our meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. The food at Souli was nothing short of excellent. We enjoyed a selection of seafood dishes that were all prepared to perfection. The squid was tender and flavorful, the mussels were fresh and delicious, and the fish carpaccio was simply outstanding – delicate, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Each dish was a testament to the quality of ingredients and the skill of the kitchen. Overall, we can wholeheartedly recommend Souli to anyone visiting Parga. Whether you're a seafood lover or simply looking for a place with great food and exceptional service, Souli is definitely worth a visit.

We had read varied reviews about the restaurant and had noticed that it wasn't as busy as some of the others but we really fancied a nice fish meal and when we walked past one evening they had the most amazing selection of freshly caught fish in their cabinet at the front and quite a few people in the restaurant so we decided to give it a go, and we are so pleased that we did. It was our most expensive meal of our holiday but we actually could not fault it. The staff were above and beyond helpful, very attentive and very informative about the menu. We decided to try the Sea Urchin starter as neither of us have ever had it before, the manager ran through it with us in great detail about how to eat it and why they serve it like they do, it was very interesting and very very tasty the way that they served it. Our other starter was mussels which were also really nice. The waiter paired up a lovely local wine too. We had one of the fresh fish from the catch of the day which was grilled to perfection and served with wonderful vegetables and potatoes, it was bought to our table whole once cooked and then perfectly filleted for us. Our bill was bumped up because we had the sea urchin starter, a reasonably expensive wine and quite a large fish from the counter. We felt that the manager was really helpful when we choose our fish as we initially choose a bigger one and he told us that he thought it would be too much and he was quite right - the one we had was absolutely plenty - he could have not said anything and made the extra money out of us but he didn't. We meet someone else on a trip the next day that had eaten there the same night as us and they were going back as they had had such a great meal. Would definitely go back here and felt it was worth the money, the location is...

I feel very conflicted about this review. From one side- the fish was extremely fresh and perfectly well prepared, and the staff was truly wonderful! Really kind, professional and pleasant service. From the other side, the mixed seafood dish (mussels, crab, calamari, prawns), although fresh, was not good at all. It was simply tasteless- the sauce was fully missing salt and any flavor in it- both me and my husband did not like it and were hesitant about finishing it. The horiatiki salad had tomato that was not ripe at all and was very poor quality (and getting a poor quality Greek salad in August in Greece is something that happens extremely rarely). The smoked aubergine salad had extreme amount of balsamic vinegar in it- my husband liked it a lot, but i found it extremely soaked in vinegar. Also- the fish did not come with any side of vegetables which is unusual. In conclusion- great selection of fresh fish, really fantastic service, but very disappointing in terms of salads and side dishes. I believe they are trying their best as the staff seemed to truly care about the service, and maybe we just caught a bad night for some...
