Restaurant Veneziano — Restaurant in Parga Municipality

Been here two times during last week on 11 & 14 September 2023, the first time the food was great, the service and atmosphere also deserve 4 stars, even if the location was really crowded and the space for the table was very tight, it was I would say a very typical Greek dinner atmosphere! The second time everything deserves -5 stars, the food was terrible and wasn't what was written in the menu and asked the waiter, instead of a salmon fillet (without bones) we received a salmon medallion (full of bones) which was also cooked to much (burned) with some sort of minimal salad for a cost of 17 Euro, also we order some lamb chops that had more bones than meat, one of the 3 chops being actually just a big piece of bones and ligaments and the price was 15 Euro, they brought the orange fresh 30 minutes after they took the order and only after I requested it for the 3rd time, their excuse being that the waiter doesn't speak English (even if he took the order in English) and that his in love :( And the worst of the worst is that when I tried to discuss with the manager/owner the situation immediately exploded into a very heated discussion, telling me that they brought me what I have ordered, although it was clearly not what I had ordered and everybody could saw it in the plates, and why do I complain only then and why do I make the atmosphere on his terrace/restaurant, culminating with the fact of screaming at me that if I want a free meal, I should get up and leave, and even if I wanted to pay him for the execrable food, a few moments later he came after me on the seafront to do "boxing"!!! During our stay in Parga, we discovered a true gem – a lovely family-run restaurant that won us over not only with its incredibly delicious food but also with its warm hospitality. Everything we tried was perfectly prepared – authentic Greek flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. A true taste of Greece! We especially want to mention the owner, Panos – such a kind, friendly, and welcoming man. He’s the perfect example of what a host should be. He personally serves the guests with a big smile and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and cared for. I took my girlfriend to propose to in parga and we decided to celebrate by going to a traditional family run restaurant. Out of all the other places veneziano stood out being a busy but lush environment with amazing grilled food and fresh sea food which is exactly what we wanted! Families and couples alike were there and you could really tell that everyone got great service and great food! We ordered a mix grill gor 2 along with a greek salad and an amazing view of the sea.
