⭐☆☆☆☆ Poor Service Ruined the Experience

We came to Kroneri Taverna today and saw a table for two that was about to be free. We asked the man managing the tables if we could wait for it, and he said yes — that there was a waiting list, and we agreed to wait our turn.

After the table was cleaned and the first group on the list was seated elsewhere, we asked again about the table. Suddenly, we were told it wasn’t available — and that it was “for three people,” even though we were only two. Then, a group of three who arrived after us was seated there.

We asked why he initially said it was okay for us to wait for that table, and all he said was, “I don’t know.” “Now, I changed it to three.”Not an acceptable answer.

Maybe the food is great, but the way this situation was handled was unprofessional and unfair. We left disappointed and won’t be...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuinely welcoming attitude from the staff. Their professionalism and attentiveness made the entire experience feel special.

The service was impressively fast without compromising on quality. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived at the table in no time. Every dish we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the combinations were both traditional...

The tavern was very cozy and it had nice atmosphere. The starters were decent but the main course, fried calamari, not so much. It was overcooked and chewy.

We had a small problem with water as we ordered a big bottle and got only one small bottle without glasses. Maybe it was miscommunication, maybe we placed wrong order, but the waiter got a bit agitated over this. We got it sorted out, eventually.

It wasn't a big deal but why I'm mentioning this, it is because the overall vibe wasn't very customer friendly.

This place has good reviews, though, so maybe it's worth a visit. I wouldn't recommend...
