The Yard, All Day Habit — Restaurant in Parga Municipality

The Yard is highly recommended! From start to finish, this was a wonderfully balanced dining experience, full of surprises and unforgettable flavors.

Our lunch began with fresh mussels in a wine-parsley-garlic sauce — hands down, the best we’ve had in town so far. Each bite was rich, aromatic, and utterly mouthwatering.

Next came a standout dish: octopus carpaccio with tarama, baked tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. This was a bold and excitingly new combination — refined, creative, and absolutely delicious.

The beef carpaccio with cardamom and truffle mayonnaise delivered deep, luxurious flavors. With just a touch of salt, it elevated into something truly extraordinary.

For mains, the sea bass filet served with celery root cream and wild grasses was a delicate, beautifully cooked plate. A hint of salt brought the fish to life and highlighted the subtle elegance of the dish.

For a heartier option, the Angus beef burger did not disappoint. It was a comfort food classic done exceptionally well — juicy, flavorful beef, melted cheddar, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato, sweet caramelized onions, and smoky BBQ sauce. The country fries served on the side were fantastic — crisp, golden, and full of flavor.

We were two adults and one child at the table, all quite hungry after kayaking the Acheron river earlier that day — and we finished every bite. While our appetites were certainly strong, the outstanding quality of the food at The Yard was undeniable.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the staff friendly, and the service quick. We were seated immediately without any wait.

A charming new cafe bar in Parga that just opened 2 weeks ago! The staff are so friendly and helpful- always smiling. They have a surprising amount of vegan and vegetarian options on their breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, which includes wraps/sandwiches, breakfast, energy bowls, burgers (a vegan burger too), pastas and sides. I’ll definitely come back to try their veg dishes and coffees.

Also they support Cup North, which is a specialty coffee roaster!

Their fans are currently broken, but they’re working to re-install them soon.
