One of the best dining spots in Skiathos!
Gaia GastroTavern really impressed us – it’s got that laid-back island vibe, but with a fine dining twist. The service was spot on: friendly, professional, and you can tell they really care about what they do.
The food was incredible – every dish felt well thought out and perfectly balanced in flavour. A few favourites we’re still talking about: • Ladotyri cheese from Mytilene with lemon gel – rich and punchy cheese, paired with a zesty lemon gel that cut through beautifully. • Smoked Metsovo cheese in a crispy crust – gooey, smoky, and the fig compote on the side was just the right touch of sweetness. • Marinated sardines – fresh and citrusy with herby bulgur underneath, super refreshing and light. • Pork Tomahawk – grilled perfectly, juicy and full of flavour, with a smoky paprika mayo that took it to the next level.
