Venue coctail bar — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

Very unhappy with the service here. I googled what time happy hour was and it stated 5pm until 8pm ordered cocktails at 5:48pm and after they were served the dark haired lady came asked me to pay as it was the end of her shift it was 6:05pm I paid then asked why so expensive and why isn’t it happy hour she stated that happy hour from 6pm I said well it is 6:05pm and she said that we ordered just before 6pm. My mum asked her why she didn’t inform us it wasn’t happy hour or at least told us if we waited a few more minutes we could have drinks half price. This lady knew exactly what she was doing and asked us to pay saying her shift was over as she knew we would complain but her shift was not over she carried on working. My mum who is 65 years old told her she should have told us happy hour started at 6pm when we ordered this rude waitress told my mum she didn’t know we wanted happy hour prices (why wouldn’t we!!) then walked away shaking her head after my mums comment instead of reimbursing us or offering another drink. I’m not sure why tonight we couldn’t not sit on our usual, favorite table, as before. In an abrupt manner we had been stopped by a blonde member of staff and had been told we couldn’t sit on the table as we were just two of us. She pointed at a number of tables, pushed very close together. I’ve told her these tables make me very claustrophobic and as it is not very busy, I’d prefer to sit on a tall table and why tonight it’s so different. She said my boss wouldn’t like it. This Bar is located up the hill. From here you will have a nice view at the seaside. The seats are mostly comfortable. We have been here September, 16th in 2024 at Lunch-time. Only a very few guest were sitting there. A young Lady has served us. One small bottle with Coca Cola was charged with 4,00 €. A Single Espresso was charged with 3,00 €.
