Clio's — Restaurant in Guatemala City

French is one of my favorite cuisine, and Clio definitely didn't disappoint me! The entire place is so unique and tastefully designed! It is not grand but it is so comfortable and artistic! It is so enjoyable to dine here! Regarding the food, it is so delicious. Honestly speaking I came here for the foie gras - it doesn't taste as I expected, but other items are still great, from the bread, the house made duck pate and fig on top of the so yummy cracker, to the mango sorbet, we love everything we ate tonight. I highly recommend the duck confit, although it is not as authentic but it is tender and tasteful.

Regarding the dessert, we love the cacao exploding, must order!

Durante mi reciente visita al restaurante Clios, tuve el privilegio de experimentar una comida que, en su mayor parte, fue deliciosa y memorable.

Entrada: Nuestra cena comenzó con un impresionante plato de Queso Camembert asado El Rebaño®, acompañado de prosciutto italiano, higos confitados, una deliciosa miel infusionada con vaina de vainilla y manzanilla, y tostadas de granos. El toque adicional del jamón enriqueció verdaderamente el plato, creando una sinfonía de sabores que despertó nuestro paladar y nos preparó para los siguientes platillos. ¡Súper recomendado!

Plato Fuerte: Para continuar, elegí el Café en Paris Filete de vacío de 8onz., acompañado de una mantequilla de hierbas y papas fritas. Aunque el filete estuvo bien cocido, la mantequilla resultó ser un poco demasiado para mi gusto, otorgando al plato una sensación un tanto empalagosa. A pesar de esto, lo calificaría con un 7; satisfactorio pero con margen de mejora, el emplatado le falto. Ver la foto de la reseña.

Postre: El cierre con broche de oro fue el postre, un Cream Brule que simplemente me robó el corazón. Su textura cremosa y su sabor bien equilibrado fueron simplemente excepcionales, creando un final dulce y perfecto para la cena.

Ambiente y Servicio: El ambiente en Clios resultó ser otro punto alto de la noche; una iluminación suave y agradable adornaba cada mesa, promoviendo un ambiente relajado y acogedor. El servicio fue excepcional, con un equipo atento que garantizó una experiencia placentera de principio a fin.

Conclusión: En conclusión, Clios ofrece una experiencia bastante positiva con algunas joyas culinarias que son simplemente irresistibles. Aunque el plato principal podría necesitar un ligero ajuste, la entrada y el postre, combinados con un ambiente excelente y un servicio cordial, hacen de este restaurante una opción digna para cualquier amante de la buena comida. I've been to a lot of good restaurants, including some that were Michelin star rated, and this was by far my favorite. The atmosphere is unique and enchanting, the service was top notch, and the food was exquisite! The unique flavors cooked and seasoned perfectly were more of an experience than just a meal. After we ate the waiter took us on a tour of the rooftop garden to see where they grow all of the vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices, and garnish flowers used in their dishes! This is truly a one of a kind restaurant and a must see for anyone visiting...
