American style food. Stopped here a couple of days ago only because we needed a late breakfast and didn’t have time look for anything else near by. Ordered an omelet and girlfriend ordered some pancake plate. Took about 30 minutes to get our food with hardly anyone there. So we were expecting the food to be at least decent. I got my omelet plate and it was just drenched in grease. I took a bite and couldn’t go past that one. Took a bite out of the hash browns and couldn’t do it… so salty. The pancakes were not cooked all the way through and could still taste the mix. I sent my food back and waited another 15 min to get the breakfast tipico. When the manager went to our table to ask what was going on he seemed bothered, no apology, and seemed to brush it off. Mister John was actually there, and hopefully he can make some changes. Regardless, it’s your typical fast food reataurant I guess you could say. But if you’re there on vacation, save your money, make the walk and head to Deli Jasmin right...

The quantity and quantity of the burgers has changed over time, although still a good burger but not for the price they charge.

Today I tried the chicken tacos in flour tortillas. The portions were uneven in each taco, the guacamole and chicken was less portion in each taco that I ate, I had to dig in with a fork and look for the tiny bits of chicken and guac. Ingredients were flavorless and stale and I left with an unpleasant sour taste in my mouth which left me nauseous.

Mister Jons is obviously catering to American tourists but we saw Guatemalans there too. The decor consists of old B-movie posters and star wars memorobilia. They have menus both in Spanish and English. The food is very good. We ordered the 2 for one special on Monday and paid 4$ usd for 4 double cheeseburgers! The buns are homemade bread and the whole thing was delicious. We also tried the bean and cheese burrito and mozzarela sticks. Everything was excellent. Our server was kind and helpful.
