If you're walking around San Marcos La Laguna wondering where the hell is the local Guatemalan food, this place is the Oasis you are looking for.
The definition of a hole in the wall with hand made, from scratch Guatemalan food. Women wearing traditional outfits making your food at the moment, even the salsas and tortillas!!!
Please keep that in mind as it may take a little longer than other places because of that reason but that is expected when someone ok cooking for you at that moment.
My wife and I were lucky to find this place. Ate there two days in a row breakfast-dinner-breakfast. We were happy with everything we ordered.
The absolute best dish I ate in Guatemala (this includes Antigua and Atitlán) was here, the "Pupusas" (see photo). 10 out of 10, amazing and I was full all day (walking 20K steps each day).

With a menu curveball they also sell pizza, which reads more like french bread with massive helpings of toppings, really good but also different. There's a dark red hot sauce on the tables, definitely try it, some sort of chilli cacao sauce that...

I understand if I have to pay but i think this should have been communicated before, especially if the wifi password is publicly displayed at the counter.
It made me feel unwelcome and very uncomfortable - despite loving the mission I...
